Do not Hire this, Company. Last year in 2023 I hired a contractor company to remodel my kitchen and bathroom, upon the estimate we discussed my project in detail. I viewed the reviews on google/website it stated that company was veteran owned, and female/minority owned. I hired this outfit for the job and also to obtain a permit with my town which was $400 and some change. I gave them $8500 as a down payment in 06/29/23 which on contract stated they would start by 7/13/23 when this date came and went, I was concerned and even thinking of getting my deposit back. (Should've listened to my gut Shame on me) but the wife assured me that my project was number one Priority, the issue was the kids out of school. Ok Fast forward to 09/18/23 when they actually started the work. In the interim the company told me that I did not need a permit to do the job. I questioned it and asked for them to provide me with the person's name they spoke with at the town after asking for about a month and getting excuses like oh we just moved, and we have to look for it. So, I took it upon myself to call the town and described the scope of my project and I spoke with the supervisor of town and was told YES, I DID NEED THE PERMIT. now I address this to the company, at this point demolition was in full effect. It has gone from bad to worse. The Electrical work well they tapped into places they should not have done, when my husband shut the bathroom light off, it turned off the lights in the 2 bedrooms and hallway, they put sheetrock up and then called the plumber after the fact and tore up brand new sheetrock did the work, after done they took the pieces and patched up the sheetrock. They hid things that should have been addressed to me. There are videos and pictures as proof of damage. I had to spend a lot of money to fix their screwup. They went into the town under false pretenses when they told the town that they were not changing any lines in the home. That was a lie. not worth 1 *
