My husband hired Five Star Pools in *********, **, to do our pool closing last fall. Since they closed the pool, he thought he'd have them open our pool, which they did about a week ago. They charged him $325 for a pool opening which did NOT include vacuuming the debris from the bottom of the pool. For the cost of $325, wouldnt you think vacuuming would be included? Not so according to the owner, *********************. That service is a separate charge. Also, they charge you various junk fees like $40 per bag to remove leaves from your pool cover, $75 an hour to pump water from your pool cover, and the list goes on of the various fees Five Star Pools overcharges their customers. When all was said and done, my husband had paid Five Star Pools almost $420 for a pool opening and given the owner and his two pool techs tips, as well. Tonight, *****, the owner, had the audacity to say to my husband that when you dine at a 5 star restaurant, you should expect to pay 5 star prices. How utterly arrogant! If you wish to stay in business, **************, Id treat my customers with more care and appreciate their business rather than charge so many ***** fees that drive your good customers away. You may be called Five Star Pools but you get ZERO stars from me for exorbitant pricing and patronizing customer service. IF I couldve given you zero stars here, I most definitely would have! STEER CLEAR of this company, unless you like setting your money on fire. Would definitely NOT recommend Five Star Pools to anyone nor will we hire this company again!
