  I entered into a contract with Richmond water proofing on approximately 2/1/2023. Richmond waterproofing AKA *** and ***, guaranteed to stop water leaking from a concreate deck in the rear of the residence. Richmond waterproofing was paid in cash the full amount of $1,700. They spent approximately 2 hours attempting to fix the issue they were paid for and were unsuccessful in their attempt. The water issue still continues same as before the attempted repair. I have called Richmond waterproofing numerous times and spoke with and text messaged *** and *** and told them the water condition still remains the same. Richmond waterproofing failed to show numerous times causing me to miss numerous days of work. They have made excuse after excuse for not returning to the location and completing the work that they were paid in full for and also that they guaranteed for life. I have given them numerous opportunities to remedy the problem and they failed to complete the job they were paid for. I finally requested a refund and they refused to give me a refund. I believe this business is a scam that has no idea how to complete a job they were paid in full to preform.

  We were experiencing water in our basement. Richmond Waterproofing came and told us that the water was coming from a crack in our foundation. They repaired the crack and we paid them in full. The next day the water was back worse than ever. It took days for the owner to come back to look. He kept texting me that he would come back to find the source of the water but never showed up. We had to call in someone else to help with the problem. His delay in responding cost us time and money. The standing water ruined the carpet in my basement not to mention the time and money that was wasted trying to sort out the actual cause of the problem

  At this time, I have been contacted directly by Richmond Waterproofing Inc. regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

  They were initially responsive to my request that we come to some type of compromise. They asked how they could make the situation better. We asked for half of the $1200 that we paid them back to which their response was a question mark as if that was out of line. We then responded by asking them what they thought would be fair and got no response. 

  After almost a week they responded back with a nasty text message concerning this complaint. They said that they would not offer us anything now and were also revoking the guarantee that they had offered on the work that they did do. They also resorted to vulgar words and retorts in their response.
