I believe they practice fraudulent behavior and have time and time again have proved me right. I highly question their business practices and believe it should be looked into further.

Adirondack Bank is in receipt of notice from the Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York regarding a complaint from ****** ******-*****.I appreciate the opportunity to clarify the issue raised by Ms. ******-*****.  The complaint involves concerns regarding the reporting of activity to credit bureaus. I want to assert that Adirondack Bank does not engage in nor has any association with reporting NSF activity to credit bureaus. We are not able to go into detail regarding any specific details regarding Ms. ******-*****’s activity and we understand the seriousness of credit reporting and adhere strictly to the industry regulations and ethical practice.  Our policy aligns with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and we ensure that only pertinent and accurate information is reported to credit agencies.Ms. ******-*****’s account was handed over to a collection agency.  It may be the collection agency that has reporting the collection account to the credit bureaus. Reviewing the account activity, the dates, the statements, the notices sent, the information sent is accurate and Ms. ******-***** has had time to correct and simply has not as of the date of this letter.I am willing discuss this issue further and provide additional information with a signed release of financial information signed by Ms. ******-*****.  I kindly request your assistance in reviewing and rectifying this misunderstanding promptly. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.Thank you for your time and understanding. Please let me know if you have any questions.Respectfully,Jeffrey L W****** SVP ComplianceAdirondack BankP: ###-###-####

7-20-2019 I got a loan from them and about half way through the payments they changed the classification of the loan. making it impossible for me to get financed through a dealer for a vehicle. it has messed with my credit and has made me look bad because my credit score on ****** ***** and ******** is 670-680. it has deframated my character and made it next to impossible for me to finance. also this has made my interest rate soar. 17.8% to be exact. causing nothing but issues. i drive a 2012 ***** ***** with 248,580 miles on it. i need a vehicle to get back and forth to work and them changing the classification of my loan has made it extreamly hard to finance a vehicle.

    ADIRONDACK BANK
185 GENESEE ST UTICA NY 13502

Adirondack Bank is in receipt of notice from the Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York regarding a
complaint from ******* ****** of Boonville, NY.
The Complaint involves a customer service concern whereas the writer states he had a loan from
Adirondack Bank in which a classification change on the loan had an impact on his credit. Mr. ****** did
not provide any pertinent information regarding the loan, only the alleged result of the classification.
Our Loan Servicing Department reviewed our files for Mr. ******’s loan history with Adirondack Bank.
We did find two Instalment loans and without written permission from the borrower, we are unable to
release specific information, these loans have been handled in an adequate manner. Adirondack Bank is
unaware of any changes made to either account mid-term as suggested or any activity that would have
a negative impact on his credit reporting.
At this point, I would encourage Mr. ****** to contact his local loan officer to discuss or to place a
dispute with the credit bureau so we could further research his issue.
Adirondack Bank would like to ensure we abide by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and we like to resolve
any issues related to the implication of negative credit being reported to the bureaus.
If new information is available, please provide it to us and we will search our records again.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
    Sincerely,
    Jeffrey L W****** SVP Compliance
    Adirondack Bank
