******* ***** (my husband) went to this clinic to have painful teeth removed and then affordable dentures. They offered free cray and consultation. He had the consultation and then came out with over 5000. Dollars of treatment which included bone grafting and all kinds of expensive treatment add ins he can not afford. Our insurance pays up to 1700 only. And we would have to pay the rest. So he asked if he can just have the extraction without all the extras and then dentures they said NO you have to do the treatment plan no other options. We said can he at least have the painful teeth removed and they refused leaving him in pain and no service. But they took 1290. from my has account for no service! And have not reimbursed. I have asked multiple times. My has card will be frozen until they get documents and I am not submitting any documents for NO service. I want this money back. Date of transaction: May 23rd, 2022. Amount paid: $2295.00 Affordable Dentures and Implants (Vestal, NY) committed to providing me a single implant (one tooth) on the lower left of my mouth. The cost for this implant was paid, IN FULL, on May 23rd, 2022. The nature of my dispute is that they have not provided the implant. The business closed, even WITH scheduled appointments on the books for clients. The company (in total) sent this specific offices' client to an office 2 hours away. That office, attempted to resolve the problem, but did not have the tooling that the Vestal office used. Clients were advised to go back to the Vestal office, because the company (in total) said the office was open again. It is not. I continue to receive emails from this business saying I have a scheduled appointment and then when I arrive the business is closed. I have the utmost documentation on this issue. The business has NOT tried to resolve the issue. There are many others suffering from this business' incompetencies, and this needs to be addressed, immediately.Initial Complaint

Affordable Dentures failed to provide adequate and timely dental care/services as promised at the start of treatment. The patient (my mother),had a consult October 2021 and was persuaded as a candidate for implantable dentures. The initial doctor explained the treatment plan package and we paid upfront in full ($13,000) total. The package chosen was “UltimateFit” full set package, which basically was the best and most expensive one they had on their brochure to offer. The treatment plan included extracting existing teeth and allowing the gums to heal for six months before placing permanent implants. Metal screws (abutments) were placed with temporary removable dentures during the initial surgical extraction of existing teeth, in order for her to be able to chew and eat etc. in the time being. This initial step was completed in October 2021 and we were advised to return in six months (April 2022) to finish treatment of permanent implantable dentures. Fast forward to six months later, it is now April 2022. Many attempts and calls were made to schedule appointment for continuation of treatment as initially advised. Finally got an appointment one month later in May 2022. Went to office to find out initial doctor and staff are no longer there nor were we ever notified or told in any form of these changes, and it is now one month delay of original time frame to continue treatment. The fill in doctor was Dr. William V*****, who stated previous doctor and staff were fired and no longer there due to poor performance. Dr. V**** stated he had no records of what was initially done to my mother’s mouth and wasn’t sure where to continue at therefore went ahead and ordered his own “parts” or hardware needed to somewhat continue. It is now February 13, 1 1/2 years since the initial start of treatment. We were promised completion in 6-7 months total. They are starting all over again on making new implants becuse the previous ones were not made right!Initial Complaint

We took out a loan thru Care Credit to get implants, in October of 2021. They pulled out all of my husband's teeth. It is now January of 2023. He still does not have a set of dentures to wear. We have been there about 18 times so far. They made his temporary dentures way too big. He can't wear them. They messed up his Permanant dentures, he can't wear them. They were supposed to grind his jawbone down the very first day when they pulled his teeth, they did not, that's why nothing fits. So here we are on Jan 11, 2023. We went back on Monday Jan 9th to get everything in order. ANOTHER appt was made for today 1/11/2023 to fiinally grind his bone down so he could finally have teeth in his mouth. It DIDNT HAPPEN AGAIN. When my husband went there today, they acted like they did know what was going on. They put a liner in his implants and sent him home. I called them when I got home, and the doctor claimed the assistant put him in the wrong chair and the doctor did not know he was there for surgery. WE were just there 2 days ago. His bottom dentures need a new receptor piece to keep them from wiggling, they were supposed to order that on 10/31/2022. we called and called. Finally, we just went down there. Lou, at the front desk said it would be in on 11/14/2022. They still do not have the piece. Also, the Dr. claimed that the temporary dentures were made so bad, they took them and threw them away. She stated they would use his Permanant set for the temps and make a new set of perms. IT has been well over a year since my husband has had teeth. He can't eat, he has lost a LOT of weight. These people don't seem to care about anything at all. This has all been paid for since Oct of 2021. I would really like something done about this. This is NOT the way to do business! I am not sure where to go from here. But you can be sure, something will be done about all of this.Initial Complaint

On 2/16/22 I prepaid $1,950 for 1 implant to Affordable Dentures, **** **** **** ***** ******* ** ****** On 7/7/22 my healthcare provider ********, ** *** ******* ** ***** ** ********** paid the dentist ***** *********, DDS $395.50 total benefit paid on the above amount. ***** *********, DDS had retired in the fall of 2022, and I haven't received from ***** *********, DDS the reimbursement he received from my insurance carrier ******** the $395.50. I visited the office in person at the Vestal, NY office, and the new personnel that took over from ***** *********, DDS that retired, said they couldn't help me and didn't know anything about it. They gave me a 1-800 number that was only for employee complaints and not for client complaints. I've mailed a formal complaint to the Vestal, NY office only to be returned undeliverable. I called the phone numbe for the Vestal, NY office, but that is an answering service for appointments only, and they could not help me, but did give me the direct phone number to the Vestal, NY office which I called several times and noboby answers, I finally left and voicemail message, and nobody has returned my call. I called another 1-800 phone number that I thought was for complaints for Affordable Dentures, and they pulled my account up and said someone would call me back regarding this, that was several weeks ago, and nobody has responsed. I would like my insurance refund send to me of $395.50.Initial Complaint

I started the process of getting an implant and crown at Affordable Dentures & Implants (ADI) on date 7/28/2021. They told me I needed to pay in advance. On 04/27/2022 I finished paying the full amount of $2,365. They started working on on 06/2021. By 04/2022 I had the implant already and was only missing the crown which I paid and costed $1,100. I was told in 05/2022 that the crown will be ready in about a month, that they will give me a call but I never received one so I went to their office. Between 08/2022-10/2022 ADI scheduled and cancelled my appointment about 4 times, getting no work done and implying that my crown was missing. On 10/04 a lady tells me that because they cannot find my crown I could get a refund, to wish I agreed because the whole thing was ridiculous. That same day I asked for a refund at the front-desk. I asked the lady there how much will my refund be and she said she didn't know but someone will call me back to tell me. About 3 weeks passed and no one calls me so I called ADI on 11/2022 they tell me they sent me a check of $500 as my refund to which I argued is too little for the cost of me completing the work they were supposed to finish somewhere else. After a discussion they agreed to refund me an additional $870 dollars. I swiped my debit card on 11/07 at the office and they gave me a receipt but my money never showed up on my account. After 3 weeks I went back the office about my refund, they guy tells me to call my bank. I called my bank and they tell me that they never received any refund from ADI at all. I go back to the office and explain this. The front-desk person tells me there is nothing he can do, that I should call corporate. For the past 4 days I have been calling corporate and they keep telling me they will call back within 24-72hrs but never do. All I've found is rude customer service who give the phone number of Natasha and Virginia H****** but neither of these two neither pick up the phone nor respond to voicemails.Initial Complaint

I had a new denture from affordable dentures when I went in for my fitting the denture did not fit properly and the technician advised me that there was not a dentist in that day and that I would have to just get used to the denture. I have called and left repeated messages with them to try and get resolution with my denture they do not answer the phone and will not return my calls. I’m at the point I want a full refund of 1245 dollars that was paid on my first visit so that I can find a dentist that will take care of me instead of just take my money. I’ve tried to get an appointment in hopes that they would fix it and make it rite but they will not call me back or anything. So I would like a refund now so I can get a new denture I can wearInitial Complaint

I went to the Affordable Dentures office in Vestal, NY because my front teeth were broken and I wanted a better smile, plus I had lost several of my back teeth and was having trouble chewing. They recommended their New Denture Wearer package for a complete upper denture and a partial lower. The dentist, Dr. Andre H******** completed the necessary extractions on March 22, and I was fitted with an immediate (temporary) full, upper denture and a partial temporary lower. I paid for the entire package that day 3/22/2021, $3690, which included the extractions. I was told that with the number of extractions I'd had, it was going to take up to 11 months to heal properly. In the meantime, I went back to have the upper and lower temporary denture relined on at least 3 occasions, during at least one of these occasions I told them that the lower denture did not fit, would not stay in place during meals and wasn't working for me. I asked if I could have an implant on just the left side (because I already had some teeth and a previous implant that I had gotten in my 20s - I'm now 65) and was told that this dentist, Dr. H********, "didn't know how to do that." So I waited. Finally, I got back in to see them on 3/31/22 and there was a new dentist, Dr. William V*****, and new staff. They said Dr. H******** had retired! The doctor reevaluated my mouth and put the lower implant in, as previously requested, on 5/9/22 that's the last time I was seen. I had an appointment 7/12/22 that was canceled due to doctor illness, rescheduled for following week. That appointment was canceled, same reason, no reschedule. I tried calling repeatedly on 9/6/22 until someone answered. The man told me Dr. V***** had left! He gave no explanation, or sympathy, as I was clearly upset. I requested a refund, and the man said that he would pass that information along. I am left with 9 teeth, an ill-fitting upper temporary denture, and a screw in my lower jaw awaiting a post and crown, with no recourse.
