I hired Paint Evolutions with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The quality of their work was well below professional standards. They left visible paint splatters on my countertops, range hood, dishwasher door, and even the floor. These are areas that any experienced painter should know to protect during a job. Beyond the poor craftsmanship, their refusal to address these issues has been equally frustrating. I reached out multiple times to request that they come back and correct the problems, but they have outright refused. He sent me a text blaming all the issues on me and telling me he was done with the project. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable for a business that markets itself as an expert in painting services. I recommend that anyone considering hiring Paint Evolutions think twice. Their inability to deliver quality results and their unwillingness to stand behind their work have made this one of the most frustrating contractor experiences I’ve ever had. You can save yourself the trouble and look for a company that values its customers and takes pride in its work. Sadly, Paint Evolutions is not that company.Paint Evolutions Response

My only response to this customer is as follows. 1. We told you after you agreed to us spraying the cabinet faces in your garage that no one would be able to go into the garage afterwards to keep any debris from drying to the faces. Your household ignored the precaution and debris dried to your faces. 2. I was kind enough to sand debris off and apply another coat at no charge. 3. Yet again we are ignored and literally watched a family member as well as yourself as we also observed the first time walking right through the garage around the wet doors. So yup again debris got stuck to your cabinet faces again. 3. I agreed to come back and fix them at no cost yet again however this customer started blaming my company for things we had absolutely nothing to do with such as “dishwasher door issue”. This issue he claimed that we scratched the sides of his dishwasher. I personally sanded the edges of built in counter next to the dishwasher to prevent this very accusation or any possible damage. I sanded with the dishwasher door open so my sanding block was never anywhere near the sides of the dishwasher door. Therefore impossible for any damage or scratches from occurring. However he fails to mention that he and his family sanded all the cabinet door and drawer faces. Did they take them off first well I don’t know for sure but scratches on side of his dishwasher door that’s in close proximity to drawers and doors would imply they probably didn’t remove them. 4. As far as paint accidentally being left in a few extremely minute areas well that sometimes happens even with plastic as well as drop cloths covering it all. I of course would have no problem wiping it off. It’s some elbow grease and hot water. 5. We finished this project in August. Never heard a thing till almost a month later. I went to meet with him and everything was great except I forgot to caulk 2 spots on the built in section of the cabinets where they meet the ceiling. Also their over sanding as well as some areas not being sanded enough left the door and drawer faces not up to their expectations. We discussed this at this meeting and I explained that over sanding and sanding off all the wood grain in some areas of every door and drawer ; while also leaving grain on the same doors and drawers leaves an unevenly sanded product. Which leaves the exact same mixed look when painted. I even sprayed 2 extra finish coats at no cost to try and leave them the best possible finish. We discussed that I would be willing to resand all the door and drawer faces as they should of had professionally had done the first time but now the process is longer and more labor intensive then if they originally hired be to do it in the beginning. Now it would need multiple layers of fresh enamel as well as the2 coats of extreme bond primer just to get to the wood again. Then sanded some more to even out the original badly and unevenly sanded faces. Then coat of primer and 2 coats of finish resprayed again with additional cost of assembly. Also I informed the customer that I would be bringing them to my home to spray as I learned my lesson from spraying them in his garage. This was September. I was told he would let me know shortly about that as well as when I could stop by to caulk the 2 missed areas. His next correspondence wasn’t until mid December with the complaint of dishwasher door scratches. I e finished this project in beginning of August. We did a walk through with his family member and got our final payment that evening with that family member signing the contract in agreement job was completed to their satisfaction. 4 months later complaints about dishwasher door , scratches on cabinets, and the list goes on. My responsibility ended with them signing off but I still wanted to make sure they were happy and agreed to take care of the few minor caulk spots I missed as yes that’s on me. However telling me I need to make a insurance claim over his dishwasher door that I know wasn’t caused by me as well as being accused of it almost 5 months later as well as now random scratches etc.. is the point where I did say I’m not responsible to fix every new mark made on them and I’m not paying for a door I didn’t damage. This customer thinks I’m responsible for his cabinets and entire kitchen for life . I’m definitely not and unfortunately there is no making this customer happy . I have ALL correspondence between us as well as ALL before and after pictures. I stand by my work as my all previous customers have shared but enough is enough. I told this customer I’m not responsible and I encouraged him to take me to court so we can show this all to a judge and let him or her decide. He obviously knows this is ridiculous, that he had no chance of winning, and decided to make a bad review instead. Sorry Mark but I firmly stand by my decision. Have a great year sir.Review from Valerie P.
