Poughkeepsie Nissan pressured me into purchasing a used vehicle - a 2015 Nissan Rogue - which I'm financing. Several suspicious tactics were used against me:- The vehicle has been in two accidents. The dealer neglected to mention this to me at any point; I only found this out because my uncle ran a Carfax on the ***** The vehicle price on the bill was too high for its condition. The vehicle price is listed at $8,995. This is the upper limit for what an excellent condition 2015 Rogue should cost. As mentioned above, the car had been in multiple accidents before I purchased it.- Much of the information on my credit application was falsified without my consent. I was told to put down the name of my old job (when I no longer worked there), my annual income was falsified to $45,000 (in reality this job paid me only around $20,000 per year), my job type was falsified to "manager" when I was only in a clerk role, the amount of time at my current address was falsified to 2 years (I had lived there less than a week by this point - again, I'd just moved), and lastly my share of rent was falsified to $500 per month (I actually pay $950 per month). The only correct information on this document seems to be my personal information. It seems I was only approved for the loan because ********************** does not require proof of income - most banks denied me.- Because I'd moved so recently, I only had about $2,000 on hand. The down payment on this vehicle ended up being $1,500, leaving me without enough money for rent that month (which I thankfully made back in time - the same cannot be said about following months, unfortunately; if not for my mother lending me money I would have missed two rent payments by now). I was also pressured into accepting a larger monthly car payment than I could afford ($314/mo, compared to my preferred ~$100-$150/mo).- I was not shown my APR at any point before purchasing the vehicle. This led me to believe I was paying less than I actually was.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Poughkeepsie Nissan, in **************, **. I wanted to give the business 14k, to cover the entire car that was totaled $11,995. They said I can only pay $12k upfront. That was the start, I was forced into a car payment. I purchased the car and within a month, I had to go for servicing three times. None of the fuses worked, my window was broken, the door was broken. Also, have two small children and one child lock does not work. The right side speaker was blown. Eventually, the check engine light came on. I took it in and they told me it was a loose coil and it was safe to drive. The light was turned off upon leaving the dealer, as soon as I restarted the car, it came back on. I then went to autozone to run the engine light and I actually have a engine misfire and EVAP leak. At this point, they had still not called me in to fix the engine and it had been two weeks. I then realized that my bumper was screwed on and the screws were painted to match the car. All of these issues came about before I even made my first car payment. I have been reaching out to the salesman and he keeps trying to get me to come in and service the car after I expressed that I no longer want the vehicle. It has too many issues and I had already been back to get the car serviced three times at that point. He keeps transferring me to the service department despite me telling him multiple times I want another vehicle or a refund.

Purchased used vehicle on 6/24/23 and also purchased vehicle warranty at same time. The warranty should be active immediately but dealership is now saying its active 30 days later and **** miles later. The warranty contract I have is not the same as the one the dealership sent over to 3rd party warranty. They changed the date from 6/24/23 to 7/24/23. The truck has issues that I want to get repaired right away but I'm being told that my warranty isn't active yet. I've attached a copy of my main warranty page plus another page that highlights the provisions of service contract. I've been trying to get this resolved since 6/30/23 but have gotten nowhere.

I purchased a brand new transmission directly from the Poughkeepsie Nissan **************** on June 9, 2022 for $2902.50. I installed the transmission myself but Poughkeepsie Nissan re-programmed the transmission and installed the transmission fluid for $105. About two weeks after I picked the car up, I went to replace the brakes and noticed a leak on the transmission where the blocks connect to hold the transmission together. This would be a manufacturer defect. After notifying Poughkeepsie Nissan about this issue, I brought the car back and they told me that they could only replace the unit but not reinstall it. This is a major inconvenience given that I have already spent at least 7 hours replacing the old transmission with a defective one, that I was completely unaware of until Poughkeepsie Nissan installed the transmission fluid, that was purchased through Poughkeepsie Nissan. I would like Poughkeepsie Nissan to reinstall the new transmission at no charge.
