            An estimate for requested work was drawn up by **** ******** at DeLorean Performance Industries (DPI) and I agreed to move forward. The DeLorean was taken to DeLorean Performance Industries (DPI) on 11/09/2021. The car was to be completed of services in early 2022. (All information is documented) I submitted a portion of the payment by check in the amount of $13,000. A few additional items were added, but nothing was said about extra time for the project duration. I would often request updates and expected completion dates and the car was “almost finished, ready to be buttoned up, getting ready for testing month after month after month. (All documented) occasionally it was mentioned that there was an issue they had to tend to, but the information was never offered, you had to request the information out of DPI. Then the car had a completion date during January 2023 (in addition to many previous and future completion dates) Some family members of mine stopped out at DPI on June 5, 2023. The car is still in pieces. Now I am trying to request information and updates with no response via email. My next step will be to contact an attorney if I do not hear from **** ******** at the DeLorean performance Industries. The lack of communication and delays of car services is beyond unacceptable. And I think that you at the BBB and other potential customers should know.

            Hello, 

            I would like to thank you for the swift action on reaching out to DeLorean Performance Industries.  **** responded within the hour and I can tell was upset that he received a call and tried to add unnecessary details to his email, but he responded and set a pickup date of the vehicle.  I will work with him throughout the rest of the process but would like to leave this case open in the event that the vehicle is not at all delivered as promised.  Any advice or suggestions that you have would be appreciated.  Thank you
