I’ve just completed my second building from this company. They are very easy to work with, materials arrive timely and complete and they will go out of their way to correct any issues (small issue with windows). Package arrives with all necessary materials and clear easy to follow blue prints. I would recommend DIY for any of your building needs.

Had a good experience. Materials were late but expected if you have purchased anything of late. Had to get some replacement parts, some missing or just broke on delivery. Some of the wood was not in good shape and wish DIY would have more eyes on this side of the project. Had an awesome experience hiring my own crew who completed the build in 2 day's. Probably will use DIY again for another pole barn

RUN! Do not use this company no matter what! They do NOT stand by their word, and are ONLY responsive to the point of sale!! They referred a "preferred builder" that was "one of the best in the nation". YA RIGHT! I found out that he didn’t have an “active license”, had “expired insurance or obligations”, and his building license had been revoked!! for OVER two years!!! My delivery from them was over 30-days late, customer service was a joke, and I was stonewalled when I complained about their "preferred builder" that was "one of the best in the nation". Find ANY other company you can, I promos you, its not worth a few bucks!

We aim to assist customers anyway we can, but we were never provided the information we requested in order to assist you. As an example, you were unsatisfied by the quality of the lumber and requested a full refund. We requested photo evidence of the lumber in question, but never received a single photo. You complained about the builder’s competence, but the builder suggests that you were pleased with his work. You explained that we were thirty days late on delivering your building materials. The purchase agreement stated that delivery of you building materials could take up to eight weeks. Unfortunately, we missed that timeframe by five days. For clarity, here is the schedule of the key events in your project.

5/26/23 - Building purchased
6/1/23 - Layout design confirmed
6/2/23 - Design and engineering process began
6/19/23 - Sent to Manufacturing
7/26/23 - Delivery of building materials
8/8/23 - Delivery of backordered doors and soffit

The builder we suggested has constructed multiple buildings for our clients over many years. The feedback we have received from those clients has been high praise for their craftsmanship. Whereas we don't shy away from attempting to assist our customers by recommending certain builders to our clients, they are not DIY Pole Barns employees or subcontractors. I am not certain why they are not meeting your expectations, but I can assure you that it comes as a surprise to us.

You said in your conversation with our Project Consultant that you wanted to shop around different builders. I can only assume that you interviewed and vetted multiple contractors and received many bids for your project. Of those contractors, you chose to hire this builder in part because we spoke so highly of them. For that, I am sorry that we swayed your decision away from another contractor that might have met your expectations.

Well all I can say is they came through for me in a serious pinch by my local yay hoo inspectors. Without there help I have no idea what I would have done. And some time had passed since I made my purchase. Thanks DIY
