    I came in to this bowling alley. Pinestripes and they told me they canceled my reservation as i tried to purchase another lane they had me purchase it for full value but only gave my daughter 30 minutes that’s wrong it’s her birthday and i just wasted 100 dollars for 30 minutes I’m looking for a refund. Cause they took my daughter bday money from me also the GM was extremely rude like he could not even talk to me and wouldn’t give me my mom back. His name Matt S****

    Hello *******,

    I am Matt S****, the General Manager here at Pinstripes. In regards to the complaint filed there are several aspects of this interaction which have ultimately resulted in us not offering a refund for this guest.

     

    Miss ****** booked a reservation for 20 people at 4:45pm and arrived for it at 6:15pm. Due to being late, two major things happened.

    First, per our reservation policy, any guests who arrives to their bowling reservation more than 15 minutes late is charged $20 per person which is non-refundable. This policy is listed in the confirmation email sent when booked.

     

    Our lanes were fully booked that night so there was no way for us to give her group more time due to being late. However, when you make a reservation in our system there is a 2 hour block put on that lane. When members from Miss ******'s group of 20 arrived (half an hour before her) they were notified that they would only have an hour to bowl as opposed to the two hours that were booked. The guests were okay with this so they were charged accordingly to bowl. 

    Miss ****** herself was one of the last members to arrive and was charged to bowl the full amount. We only offer booking on our lanes per person, per hour, not by the half hour. 

    We followed our policies to to the letter for this reservation and all information was conveyed to Miss ****** and her group prior to any charges that occurred. If she feels that her money was wasted that is unfortunate but I would recommend coming on time in the future.
