One star would be GENEROUS for these incompetent imbeciles. Think again before you purchase a condo under this company's management. Deplorable. Issued a fee and notice for an "uncompliant door" that was clearly freshly painted. They sent a million notices, it was hard to miss. However, for important notices (like no receipt of HOA funds) they can't be bothered to call/leave a VM/send a message through the portal and then attempt to foreclose on your home. Whoever is running that organization should be ashamed of themselves. Will never purchase another home if under this company's management.Review from Janine G

#Elite Management Services, Inc. WORST WORST EVER! No one will EVER NEVER call you back or answer an email! But if you do get to talk to someone which you would be very luck or won the lottery they are very condescending and lack of professionalism especially Ed! Beware and I feel bad for you as I wish I never ever bought the condo now that they are "Property Manager" If it was a option I would rate Elite Management Services, Inc. a negative rating because it's a shame they are HORRIBLE! There is very rarely a time which I write a review but this group justifies a very poor review. The agents Elite has to take phone calls are not informed, they couldn't find my account and the lady, named "Mitch" was not willing to give me an email for a supervisor or anyone who could find my account in their system. 30 minutes was spent trying to get them paid but went wasted because of the worst customer service I've had in a long time. There is no way I could ever recommend these people. Beware. Barry R.Elite Management Services, Inc. Response

BEWARE!! Just look for another property management company. You can thank me later for saving from the worst managed company I have ever worked with across any industry. Everything seems to fall through the cracks with them and then EMS will have an excuse for what happen. They will never take responsibility. BEWARE of the maintenance company used by Elite called Ohio Elite Maintenance. EMS is paying them for uncontracted, unapproved work that is questionably being performed on our communities property. When you look up Ohio Elite Maintenance you will find nothing, like they don't even exist. Elite will try and spin this comment and put the blame on the HOA Board. The board is not the one getting paid to manage the community and oversee the budget. EMS will try and make this seem like it is our fault, when the board has had to find ever vendor, deliver meeting notices, manage all violations, manage ARC forms, communicate with the city, etc. I literally had to join the board because when I tried to communicate with EMS as a homeowner I was ignored. Look at EMS previous comments and you can see how EMS responses, unapologetic for not doing a good job. They response defensively and that is how your whole experience will be with them. They can do no wrong and it is HOA Boards fault, it is a case for an unhealthy relationship. Just to be clear, when the board brought issues to the attention of the owner, the owner's only solution was to terminate our agreement. Now they are dragging their feet in the transition to our new company. Our new company has never had this much issue with a transition from one company to another. They are just as frustrated from the lack of professionalism and communication as the board has had to deal with in the past.Elite Management Services, Inc. Response

Alex, We fully understand the frustration you must have after being told that your management company no longer wished to partner with you and telling you to issue your contracted 90-day notice of termination. Your comments to the BBB are unfortunate and support the reason why we no longer wish to partner with Weatherstone. Unfortunately, after 5 years of a good relationship with the previous Board president, your arrival on the Board after he sold his home and moved was a relationship we did not wish to continue. Your incomplete and incorrect statements based solely on your short time on the Board are simply a continuation of your determination from the beginning to forgo a relationship of communication and teamwork, but instead, consternation and accusations that had no basis in fact or previous decision of the Board from the prior five years is the very reason we chose to not continue the relationship. We are sad that we had to end the relationship with Weatherstone and wish your community a great futureCustomer Response

Just like I said in the complaint. No responsibility. I was advised by the former president before he left to look for a new company. The only reason you had a good relationship with the former president is because he did everything for you. These are the facts; you did not send out annual meeting reminder as requested with plenty of time to do so and I personally printed and hand delivered to the neighborhood, sent you the bill for printing cost and never received reimbursement, FACT. I personally took 22 photos of every house missing shutters, circled the violation and addressed each one. That is 15% of the neighborhood, not sure how it gets that out of control. No wonder you felt like everything was going well, you never checked on our community. I had to get the quotes for holiday lights, most companies obtain at least 2 quotes for projects, you provided zero. I contacted the city for replacing damaged irrigation with success, because you were unable to do so. Mainly, you have allowed a company with no contract, no work scope, and no accountability to bill our account unconditional!! Since you wanted to terminated the contract on 11/15, Ohio Elite Maintenance has sent over 7 invoices, more than the entire prior year. I would love to have contact information for them but you will not provide that. FACT!Elite Management Services, Inc. Response

One of the unfortunate things about today's social media venues is that they provide people with the ability to take their opinions and post them as facts on open websites for mass consumption. Many times these opinions border on slander and serve to hurt the many good people and employees who come to work every day and endeavor to provide service to their customers and support their families. You have now continued this on several platforms. Again we will say that we terminated our relationship with your association for this very reason and we again wish your community great success. We will say though that we have pulled all of these from the websites and turned them over to our attorneys to review. However, if you should wish to take this discussion from social opinion sites to an actual fact-based legal venue we are confident that we can provide actual documentation that we met our contractual obligations, mediated the By-laws and Declarations of the community and advised the Board accordingly, provided the community transparent financial stewardship, provided the Board with total access to all of their documentation and finances, provided all communication logs with the homeowners. Etc.Review from George M

I second the NO STARS! I have been on a HOA Board for over 15 years and this is the worst property management company. They do nothing in the contract we signed with them. Homeowners try to get in touch with them and get no response. As a board member we had to do everything. Do not waste your community money on this company.Elite Management Services, Inc. Response

Thank you, George, we understand your concern. You had a great president until recently who preferred to be hands-on when it came to overseeing the community. He was patient and a great asset and worked well with our company. We understand now that he has moved that this creates a vacuum of leadership in the community. Different Boards govern differently and like you, we will miss his leadership. We believe that if the new Board had set down and had a calm conversation about what was expected moving forward they would have found that the service you expected could have been provided and we would not have had to terminate our contract with your community.Review from Shelley s

No stars! They just raised our fees without a board vote. President and treasurer are all we have, and they will not answer their phones or do their duties. AND ems NEVER ANSWERS THIER PHONES. Everyone's accounts are messed up, and no correspondence is answered in a timely fashion. Usually it is close to a month before you get a nah answer, and never signed.Elite Management Services, Inc. Elite Management services is a vendor that works for the association and we have no authority or decision-making power to raise your association dues. This is decided by the HOA governing documents and board of directors. EMS is currently operating on a 24 to 48 hour turnaround time. For a quicker response we encourage you to email our support team at support@emspm.com or visit our website at emspm.com and select the live chat option. Our team is happy to help you!Review from Judy H

We had Elite for several years - at first just OK but as time went by and our new representative was hired it went downhill fast. The representative we had when we first signed up soon became unable to reach - - he was no longerr working for the company but we were not advised about that!! Raised fees and charging late fees - they too their half but we got nothing if not paid. Just be aware!!
