Rented this venue for my wedding. Worst experience I ever had. You are told lies from the very beginning when Jennifer gives you a tour and goes over the contract with you. She tells you things will be included in the package, that you will find out later are not. The communication is really bad. The only direct way to contact a customer service person is by emailing a general email address. Finally as it got closer to the event date, I couldn't take all the inconsistencies anymore so I demanded to speak to a manager. Mind you, I asked to speak to a manager months before, but they never reached out to us. Finally when I had enough of their lies, I demanded the Operations manager, Steve call us. When he called us he was totally disrespectful. He talked over me the whole time and told me he was going to control the conversation. He was so rude and unprofessional. When he finally gave me permission to speak, I explained that they were charging us the wrong amount for the table cloths. When he checked, he realized he had made a mistake and corrected it. He never apologized. The person we were told would be working our event was not there the day of the wedding. Instead it was someone who usually only worked with the horses who clearly didn't know what was going on. Steve would not allow the heat to be turned up even though it was freezing since it was in the low 30's that day. We gave an intial $750 deposit that was never returned as of today. The contract we signed clearly states if no damages were done the deposit would be returned up to 30 days after the event date. I emailed and texted them about the deposit and no one ever responded. We have not been notified of any damages so my husband and I are taking legal action now. The operations manager, Steve, is one of the worst! Don't rent here.

They are very corrupt. Once you pay them, they will stop responding. They charged for literally everything and my wedding still didn’t go as planned. Long story short, don't waste your money or time with this venue/company. Believe the negative reviews. It's the TRUTH!

From the outside looking in, a beautiful place, from the lighting package they offer to horses/farm, to all open fields. However, when you go into the facility to meet with your "planners" you have to sit and wait when no one else is in the waiting area. This happened twice, the third time I had excellent service because I met with Steve the "Operations Manager". We didn't book because there were promises made that weren't followed through on their part to make sure I wouldn't be charged twice for "flatware" even though it states "additional services". The Estate is saying you have to get a caterer and buy flatware through them because people in the past dumped food in toilets. So every single knife, fork, spoon, plate, glass, etc would have cost an additional $2k. When I confronted Steve about paying extra, he stated that he would meet with Kohlers and make it right since this was a business to business situation and not my problem. He stated he had a meeting lined up with followers for that following week; we met March 22nd, and he had a meeting set for sometime March 25th to 29th. However, that must have fell through because I didn't hear back from him until May 2nd. There was no follow up, no calls, just an email saying it's been a crazy few busy weeks, and they were able to sit down and correct this. There is no communication or lack of, no follow through, and no sense of urgency. For the package they portray, they don't do a good job with delivering this. From EVERYTHING being separate charge, extra charge, to lack of communication - to NOT getting even money back even though you paid WAY in advance until you didn't realize until too late that you picked the wrong venue since this one will nickel and dime you. Do you research first.
