On 03/22/2023 I purchased a semi-truck engine (2016 Dd15 complete engine; ready to install 340000 miles with ECM) which costed 14k with an additional 1.5k for core fee's. The engine was supposed to have no issues; I delivered the engine to a repair shop, O&K truck repair, and it was installed on my truck. It did not start. I called the guy who sold me the truck and he told me he would drive to the shop and fix the issue. He showed up at the shop and stated that when the engine was installed the *head* was broken. So, he took the *head* and brought it back to his place to go fix it. He showed up 2 days later with a "fixed" *head* but when asked to show a receipt, he did not provide one; but HE then proceeded to install the "fixed" *head* and tried to start up the same engine (which did not work). The O&K mechanics started replacing parts of the engine until they were finally able to start it up. After 5 minutes of the engine running, the check engine light turned on. It was then plugged into a computer to run a diagnostic test, 2 out of the 6 cylinders were misfiring (cylinder number 4 and 6). So, I called him to tell him that the engine is still having problems and that most likely the *head* which was supposed to be "fixed", was probably still broken. He replied by saying to tow the truck to his shop and that he would fix the engine. On April 13, I towed the truck, which had the broken engine inside, and left it at his shop. After having a conversation with him, he said that it would take a week to fix and that the warranty would cover it. This would be the last time that I would speak with the guy- for 4 weeks I tried to get in contact with him but he wouldn't pick up so I had no information about my truck. Due to this, I decided to drive over to Ohio to speak with him in person, but after seeing my truck in the same place I left it, UNTOUCHED by the way, I decided to take it back with me instead. I have paperwork, videos, pictures, and dates if needed.
