On September 22, 2022, Limin Ye, owner of Opticzoom and Limin Sports Gun Shop, pleaded guilty to one count of engaging in the business of manufacturing firearms without a license and one count of aiding and abetting making false records by a federal firearms dealer in case number 2022CR00056, USA v. Ye - Limin Ye in Ohio Southern District Court.
On June 27, 2023, Limin Ye was sentenced to a total of 20 months in the Department of Corrections and one year of supervised release. Furthermore, he is prohibited from possessing a firearm, ammunition, destructive device, or dangerous weapon.
