For nearly a year Blessings Maid For You has cleaned our home with outstanding results. On Nov. 29th 2 employees arrived to clean our home. They were here less than an hour, took the full payment check and left. When we arrived home it didn’t smell clean as before. We noticed the kitchen floor was not cleaned, as the bathroom floor & sinks were not either, dressers were partially dusted. All were cleaned to our satisfaction in previous visits. Nov. 30 we made a phone call to Blessings to report the issue. Brittany was sorry and would see if they could come back. Brittany later texted and wanted photos of the effected areas. Unfortunately we already cleaned the undone areas, however we did have a photo of the water bucket after cleaning the kitchen floor. We texted if they could not come, could they make an adjustment next month. No reply until Dec 3 when Kaitlin (the owner) emailed us she was discontinuing their services to us because of staffing issues (However Blessings continues to advertise, since then, for new customers). Dec. 4 we emailed Kaitlin and asked if we would be compensated for a job not completed, but yet paid in full by us, but no response. Dec. 12 we called to have Kaitlin call us to discuss the situation. Dec. 13 Kaitlin emailed, at this time she did not believe we were owed any compensation. Dec. 19 we called and asked to have Kaitlin call us to discuss. We have yet to hear back. In the beginning, on the initial visit, Kaitlin asked that if we had any issues, please give them a chance to fix it before dropping their service. We had Zero issues until Nov. 29. Kaitlin still has NOT called us, however at this point we are not interested in discussing. We believe we should receive a refund for services not rendered.

I did hear of the complaint from the ********** on Nov. 30. Policy states that they have 24 hours to submit a complaint to us after a service and request a redo. My company does not offer refunds-ever. I have attached screenshots of the conversation that happened. The only screenshot I did not include was the email of me terminating services which stated the following:

    "Good afternoon Julie,

Unfortunately, at this time we are dealing with great staffing issues, as is most of the country. Regrettably, we have to discontinue our services at this time. This cut is not personal, we had a certain number that had to be cut and we went in order of newest to oldest customer. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and I do wish you the best of luck finding a service to fit your needs as we navigate through this difficult time in our company. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a blessed day.

At the time of this email, I believed the issue to have been resolved since we never received any pictures from either of them. I did not call them on the phone because it was obvious from the start of this complaint what kind of people I am dealing with. As of now both of their phone numbers are blocked from our business line. I refuse to deal with drama filled customers that have already taken advantage of my kindness. We were actually in their home for one hour and ten minutes. It was myself and one other employee. We did all of the normal tasks that we had always done for them. As you can see in the screenshot of the text message thread, no pictures were ever sent to us until Julie included the mop water picture which happened to be 14 days post clean. There is no proof, displayed in the photo, of when that photo was taken. I do not believe these people deserve any compensation.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

We are responsible people.  The type of people who expect to get what we pay for.  On numerous occasions this past year we welcomed Blessings Maid for You into our home to clean with zero incidents.  On Nov. 29 we had an issue with floors, sinks and dressers not being cleaned as usual.  We brought the issue to the company’s attention at 9:25AM on Nov. 30th.  We never received any written or verbal company policy, however we were within their 24 hours to submit window. Pictures would have proved nothing as evidenced by owner Kaitlin Larkins response message.  We simply wanted Ms. Larkins to personally inspect the situation, sinse she claims to responsibility for being in our home.

The screen shots of the email thread solidify our stance.  Unfortunately phone calls and texts were not reflected.  We made every attempt to resolve this situation in a timely manner. We simply wanted to speak directly to Ms Larkins and not through emails, texts or associates.  Ms. Larkins kindness was reflected through her response to the situation.

No drama, just facts.  No preconceived ideas on our part. We had service we were not happy with.  We brought it to the companies attention.  Now we realize the company does not refund, redo or repond by phone or in person.  Blessings Maid for You terminated service after our check cleared.  If Ms Larkins would have performed the normal tasks they always did, there would have been no issue.  This was deliberate deception and we do not agreed with this response.

If nothing else we would like people to know this was our experience with Kaitlin Larkins and Blessings Maid for You

    Regards,
