I bought a used 1997 Ford F250 from Jon W****, the owner of Grizzly garage. I live in New York so I bought the truck sight unseen. As I could not see/test drive the vehicle before purchasing, I asked Mr W**** many questions, including if it had any mechanical problems, Dents, Leaks of any kinds and paint issues. He replied no to all of my questions leading me to believe I was getting a very nice condition, with no issues whatsoever, used vehicle. Upon delivery, my wife immediately noticed the numerous dents and paint issues. She was less than happy I bought the truck. I texted Mr W**** to see if he would purchase the vehicle back from me based on the physical condition alone (and to avoid a divorce!). He told me he would be out of town for a few days but would list it and if no one was interested he would consider buying it back. He never listed it and never returned my phone calls regarding the physical issues. After three days of sitting in my driveway after being delivered I decided to take the truck for a spin. When I moved from the driveway my wife screamed to stop. There was a very large stain on the driveway from a leak from the truck. I took it to my mechanic. While driving the truck was making an awful metal on metal noise as well as what sounded like a banging under the truck. My mechanic advised that the fluid was transmission fluid and sent me to a transmission repair shop. That shop advised that the flex plate was cracked and I wouldn’t be able to drive much longer. The cost to repair would be $3,500. I immediately called Mr W**** to advise him of this. No answer. I tried again the next day and no answer. I texted him everything I was advised by the mechanic and no answer. I continued to call-no answer. One week later I sent the same text to Mr W****. No answer. That same week I continued to call and no answer. Finally I sent my last text advising I would be escalating my complaint. He texted back refusing to help, basically calling me a lier.
