We had a contract written up with a company called the Flower Petal for delivery and set up of flowers and accessories (archway) on the day of our wedding, 10.15.22. Everything was paid in full on time at a total of $2,928 Our wedding was at ********* gardens. On the day off, we arrive roughly 1 hour before the ceremony was set to begin. No flowers were there and when members of my family as well as bridemaids attempted to contact ******, the owner, they were all sent to voicemail. Only after several attempts they finally got a text saying someone would be there. 2 employees did show up, late, and were visibly crying. Although frustrated, we said that it was ok and that it was not their fault. they explained that they too had tried to contact their boss multiple times but were sent to voicemail as well. Guests were seated at our ceremony, waiting for us to walk down the aisle, but instead were watching members of the Flower Petal, my family, and some of my groomsman trying to get the arch built. This was of course all supposed to be done in advance. In addition to the above, the flowers that were eventually delivered were not exactly what was on order. As an example, my wife paid extra to receive a special bouquet however it was small and the exact same as others. ****** continued to ignore our calls for resolution until the following day when i finally received a text where she blamed her employees for "over sleeping". She then offered a refund on the half setup fee ( ~$100) but said they delivered on everything else and insisted they were done on time. After going on our honeymoon, i followed up with a text today, 10/25, asking her to please contact me so we could resolve our issue. She responded later with a text suggesting i was harassing and stalking her and to never call again or else she would file a restraining order. ****** delivered on a portion of what was expected but it was late and not what we originally signed a contract and paid for.
