The fire pit in question has a maximum value of $2,4850.00 (please see attached file - approved proposal #****, line item #1 Fire Pit Installation). The amount disputed on this report is inaccurate.

See the attached photos to see the beautiful patio we installed for this customer. The customer (Rakesh) requested for a natural gas line for the fire pit be tied into the existing gas line exiting near the back door to reduce the cost of his proposal. He was given multiple options/proposals. The subcontractor that was hired did as he requested. The fire pit is in working condition. The customer would like a flame exceeding the current size. Its been advised that the new gas line needs to be tied into the main gas line to have the necessary supply for a flame of the requested size, and that his proposal/work order included what he sternly requested (to tie into the existing line). We were the company installing the patio and landscape, the gas line was installed by a subcontractor and followed his instruction per the home owner. The customer needs to have a plumbing company install a 1 line from the line we installed to the main on the gas meter (around 20). We offered to prove the necessary contact information to a company that could provide the service as its outside of out scope of work (reasoning for bringing in the original subcontractor). The customer is attempting to blackmail me to get this service paid for by my business by threatening and not paying for bills on other projects that have been completed. The customer has an overdue (26 days) landscape bill of $975.00 (invoice #****).

On the note of grass seed, the customer failed to water as instructed. We attempted to apply the grass seed twice. We do not guarantee germination due to negligence.

Due to the customers emotional outbursts onsite and creating an uncomfortable work environment, were unable to conduct further business and advisement.

Were unable to attach the necessary files as evidence (this website did not accept the photos). We will attempt to attach the photos another way.

[If you do not say why you are rejecting the company's response, BBB must close your complaint.]

    Complaint: 22170217

I am rejecting this response because:
He made the decision to attach the gas to what it is right now, he is lying when he says I proposed him anything. If I knew how to do it why would I hire him. Regarding the grass seeds, the only thing grew was weeds. I can show you how much my water bill increased during the months. Before and after the seeding. Now we are asked other contractors and they would be sending us the invoice how much it would cost to fix his mess. The guy took 1.6 months to finish the patio project and the fire pit is not working and made a royal mess of the surrounding area. He is going to hear from my lawyer very soon anyway.
