To Whom This May Concern: I recently got a car out of Belden Village Towing Lot on 01/07/2024. My Daughter was in a car accident and the vehicle couldn't be driven. The Sherriff Department called them to get the vehicle out of the road. My husband was on the scene of the accident and he wanted the vehicle to be towed to where he wanted. They indicated that couldn't be done and it had to be towed to their lot! I went the next morning to claim my vehicle only to find out that the charge was $431.33! They charged a towing fee of $200.00, a labor fee of $100.00, $80.00, milage, and other fees! First of all, I have know others who have had their vehicle towed out of the roadway due to the fact that the vehicle couldn't be driven! I understand that they were dispatched by the sherriff's department but Belden Village Towing is NOT upfront with their fees! They only take cash so that is crap! There is a ton of vehicles on their lot so I believe that people aren't getting their vehicles out! I know that they are a business but it seems like a very shady business at that! I felt like a criminal going to make claim to my vehicle. I have a special situation that I need to obtain my vehicle back! I feel charging this amount isn't business worthy! I didn't do anything illegal nor did my daughter! I feel that part of the fee should be refunded because they weren't upfront regarding the charges! I would never tell anyone to use this company again! If my Vehicle brakes down and my vehicle company dispatches Belden Village towing, I will refuse them!

Good morning. to start off this is a list of the charges  $200 for the accident tow $80 for the 2nd tow $100 for the clean up and $25 for storage and $26.33 in tax. there was no mileage charge. if you look at what the other company's in ***** co. charge we are far below. i talked to the driver that was there that night and the owner of the ford escape never ask about a price but was explained that we could not take it to custom because custom was closed . they came in on Monday and paid the bill for the towing and we took the escape to custom i do not remember them complaining at the time about the price or had called back in about it . our pricing is very low for this county any other tow company would have been much more costly. if you have any more questions please contact us thank you

after having had my 2017 Nissan Maxima towed and stored at their yard, I now have a rip in my leather center console, a completely destroyed windshield washer fluid reservoir, my skid plate was cut from my car, there is a severe dent in the rear door jam, and the interior of my car was completely covered in dust from apparently having had all the doors left open on their yard for some considerable time. When confronted, they told me no one has been in my vehicle at all, which is false because one of their tow trucks and drivers brought it to the yard to be parked, not me.

    Dear BBB
In regards to Mr. ****** complaint about his vehicle. His vehicle was impounded on 4/27/22 by a local police Dept. that we are under contract with. His vehicle was impounded for various charges. Because of the charges the police Dept. put a hold on the vehicle which means Mr. **** could not get the vehicle until the courts or the police Dept. lifted the hold on the vehicle. Because of the hold he did not pick up the vehicle until 7/14/22 before Mr. **** picked his vehicle up he called our office and stated he was going to sue our Company for making him pay the towing and storage bill. He stated he won his case but his case is public record - it's still ongoing. Our Company even reduced the bill by $200.00 but he still was unhappy with the price. Mr. **** did send pic's to review site. We reviewed the pictures. The center console damage looks to be caused by wear and tear. The skid we did not cut it offer believe it was caused by previous damage  before are service as such the windshield washer reservoir also pre existing door jam we feel due to the pre existing damages our Company is not responsible for his complaint against our Company.

                                                                            Sincerely
***** **** Belden Village Towing Co. Pres.
