Company so called inspected my house I was buying. They did find somethings wrong, seller fixed them. Day after I moved in shutoff values under my kitchen sink exploded water everywhere. Then my handyman that was fixing it looked at a wire in my basement touched the outlet sparks and smoke. I have to replace wiring in basement. Inspector didn’t catch that. He left me a messsage I called back, he was very arrogant and rude. I will not ever pass her name on.

We are sorry to hear of your issues. The conditions that you stated when our representative spoke with you yesterday was under the impression that the supply line valves under the sink were dripping...not exploding.  Also, you stated that the handyman touched the light fixture in the basement (old porcelain fixture) when the short happened meaning there must have been a loose wire, not re-wiring the whole basement.

As we stated in the report, we ran the water at all fixtures for 30+ minutes and no leaks were found under the kitchen sink.  We also advised that since the house was vacant, drain and supply line leaks can occur when daily activity starts that were not evident during the inspection - even though we gave the plumbing system and good workout by running that much water for that long of a time.  We do this to so that, to the best of our abilities, prevent surprises like this...but, again, we do try to have you be aware that these types of things can and do happen when there is a house that is vacant.

Not sure how we could have found the loose wire on the light, as it was working at the time of this inspection, but thankfully, you were able to find it.

This company is horrible!!! Please don't use them. First warning is when they will only allow high rated reviews on their website. Their lack of inspection cost us $10's of thousand of dollars in repairs. We sued them in Warren County courts to find out they are not liable for the LACK of inspection. I don't know this to be a fact but suspect they work off referrals from the realtors. So therefore the don't want to report damage and cause the realtor to miss a sale..... this is just my opinion. Please do your homework before using them.

I found their house inspection very ignorant. They missed a lot of important costly things during my house inspection. They did not test the HVAC, nor did they check the attic water leak. I should have checked their reviews before hiring them.

If this company would have done their job we would have never bought this home. We walked into 4 gas leaks, a water heater with the gas shut off and a union in the wrong places (one of the gas leaks), and a dryer vent on top of the water heater instead of a galvanized vent like there is suppose to be right after getting the keys. Our report did not have one photo of our water heater/information about it nor did they look at our water softener to let us know it was in bypass mode and probably had been for some time. Two days later a water leak from our master shower into the garage. We have had a gas line company, two furnace companies, and a plumber in our first week here. All asking if we received a home inspection. The plumber stated if they would have turned on the shower they would have seen the leak immediately as it poured from the garage ceiling. Same as the leak for the water softener. The company wants to put the blame on other people including our realtor instead of owning their mistakes. Now we live in fear of what will happen next because of their negligence. Not a company to trust.

So sorry to hear about your troubles with these issues. We perform thorough inspections and offer our recommendations so that things like this do not happen. Sounds like the main issue is that you did NOT follow our recommendation to consult a plumber about the water heater BEFORE closing! Sounds like a lot happened between when we inspected the house and when you moved in apparently. As you remember, all 5 of us were standing in the small basement talking about the inspection...surely at least one of us would have smelled the gas leaks? AND - we recommended that you have a plumber provide you an estimate for repairs on the water heater BEFORE closing - and - apparently something happened because the water heater was ON at the time of the inspection and the plumber would have smelled all the gas leaks at that time, too? There was nothing in the report about the water softener, because as the report clearly states, we do not inspect water softeners (it was turned off anyway). The report also clearly states that we ran the water at all the tubs/showers and sinks for 30+ minutes with no leaks - and we definitely would have noticed the bad leak in the garage (Sorry that we did not predict that the shower would leak TWO days after you moved in.)
