Service for cleaning blinds in our home was 7/3/24 - Owner by phone & in ***** Magazine ad promised to clean one blind free for every two cleaned - 10 blinds were cleaned (should have been $350) - He denied this & wrote invoice for $555 plus tax - I argued this & owner knocked off $100 - I said it should be $350 total - He said no, so I wrote $455.17 check - He also broke clips on three blinds & frames fell to floor - I had to go get velcro ($8 that he did not pay for or offer to go & get) - He was argumentive thru all this & even made fun of me for not being able to fix teh blind hanging - my wife called him on 7/5 & he was notsupportive with this issue - I believe he owes me the $100 plus difference, plus a trip to successfully hand the 3 blinds that fell

Received a call from ****** to clean wood blinds, I asked that she send me photos of the blind to confirm they were in fact wood.  Blinds of different material require different cleaning method.  She never sent the photo.  The week of June 24, I went to their home, and met with ****** and her daughter to clean said wood blinds.  Upon arrival, I discover the blinds are faux wood (not wood blinds as she insisted), which require a different cleaning process, and that I would have to return with my trailer to clean them the proper way.  I told her at that time, that I would come back, and not charge an additional trip charge to come back to clean the faux wood blinds.  We agreed that I would return on July 3 to clean 10 faux wood blinds at $50/each (and no additional trip charge).  When we cleaned the blinds, the plastic clip broke, being brittle from age and hanging in the sun, which deteriorates the material.  I explained the solution to the broken clip:  buy heavy duty velcro.  As noted in the attached copy of our invoice (bottom left corner), we are not responsible for broken parts due to damage that isn't visible.  I clearly explained this issue.  Customer's husband agreed he would get the velcro to fix the blind.  I went to their home (twice), and provided the service of cleaning blinds and charged accordingly for my service.  When the customer saw the finished clean product, customer (Debbie) was happy with the service provided, saying they looked nice.  When the customer wrote the check I agreed to deduct $100.00 for the coupon.
