  This business began texting me on September 8th about a sleeper sofa I was inquiring about. Messaging went south when I asked if the recipient they would be able to dispose of the couch I was replacing or if they would give a discount for taking it (sense it was a new couch). The business refused and I said that’s fine and asked when they could deliver the couch they recommended. The business then asked for my zip code. I gave them a zip code. He then said no, I’ll pass. I then called the store to understand what was happening and if there was some kind of understanding. Then the person I called asked to call me b*** when they was with a customer. When he called b*** he began cussing me out and yelling obscenities at me. I was calm the entire time, and had greeted him with respect. After he hung up on me - I was literally shaking because I’ve never had a company act in this manner. I texted him and told him I would be sharing my experience via the review process and I would be pursuing additional recourse. He then began to brag about his business and continue to disparage me. He also threatened to reach out to people in my industry to tell them I asked him to buy used furniture. I’ve never had this experience before and I looked at his reviews. I saw several other reviews about him being rude, unprofessional and flying off the handle.

  We were able to meet the deadline of having a sleeper sofa by next weekend to an ****** he was trying to furnish and needed for a client. Mind you he lives in Nashville and we could still have it shipped. Not once did be mentioned he wanted it deliveried in Cincinnati Ohio. Everything was done by text as he called the store the night before at 1230am and a text was sent to him.

  We ship all over the country so it's not an unusual request. He keeps demanding we give him a better price (we already have the best prices anywhere) and on top of that he wants a $150 credit for a used sofa he's replacing. We have done hundreds of ******** and never had a client wanting credit for used furniture. I'm immediately stated we would pass on the business and wished him luck.

  He continued with threatening texts he would file legal action for discrimination and even sent me a picture of himself that I would be seeing him in person. This individual has some issues. The deal could of been completed with deliver and setup in his time frame but he has unrealistic demands. Tell me what furniture store in Cincinnati or anywhere nationwide takes used furniture in on trade? None! My apologies for wasting your time as consumers have gone way off the rails with expectations of businesses.
