My son whom is 16 years old parked in this lot and was unable to identify where to pay. The lot attendants are predatory and did not assist him a minor in how to pay. As soon as he left the lot, they put a boot on the car and the only way to get the boot off was to pay $154.00. My son clicked the link and ordered ****** pay in order to be able to leave, otherwise, they would not remove the boot. I am willing to pay what the actual parking fee was, but video should prove how long he was gone from the vehicle. This company has predatory practices and some practices may be illegal.

My daughter and I had stopped to eat at a restaurant at *** ******* ** and we tried paying for parking through the machine 3 different times and it just kept canceling the payment. So we went in to the restaurant for less than an hour on 9/19/24 at 5:28pm. When we came out there was a boot on my car and a ticket to contact and pay. I called the number and the guy said we had to pay or the car would be towed and if I wanted to dispute the ticket to email the company. We did so and just as everyone else has said here someone appeared almost out of nowhere to take the boot off and snap a picture of our ID. I emailed the company 4 different times over the past week and still have yet to get a response from the company. We don't have the money to afford this. The dinner it's self was a rare treat and it's not our fault the machine was refusing to take our money. It really seems like this whole thing was a set up to collect money from unsuspecting individuals!

On 5/26 I went to *** ***** ** ********** for less than a hour and parked in Lot A my parking pass was visible on the dash board and yet still got booted. When I called the number on the awfully torn balled up piece of paper I spoke to someone name D or B who was VERY disrespectful. I am unable to get the boot off until I pay $150 dollars. 20 mins later a man that appeared to be homeless with tech attire on walked up straight to the vehicle and asked me to roll down the window. The whole thing was sketchy because the tech was on the phone with D who I had just spoken with, asking the tech what he has told us. The tech stated that the Operator, D was lying. And that our car will not be towed in 30 minutes because cars do not get towed in this specific lot. D presumed to tell me that he, “sorry I had it in my head that I can park in this lot on the weekends” and that I, “ seem like a respectable person who will be able to pay the money and not try to take the boot off because I am on camera and authorities will be involved.” First of all working as a customer representative why would you even say anything like that in that nature. Very rude and disrespectful to say the least. We called local authorities but D would not send his tech back out. Why would you send him out the first time if he doesn’t come until the payment is made???? THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. And someone is looking for a quick payday. Shame on yall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the night of 2/10/24, I was parked in a lot on Race and 9th street. There were several other vehicles in this lot as well. I was in a local establishment for less than 2 hours and i come out to a boot on my car. NEVER in my life have i been booted, there was no warning ticket or anthing. A reused piece of paper was left on my windshield to scan to pay. To my suprise it was $150 to get this boot off, i had no choice but to pay it. Once the amount was paid online, a man appeared out of nowhere to take it off, then he asked me for the paper back to find his next victim. It is clear whoever this person is, randomly places the boot on a car in order to rip someone off for $150. POOR BUSINESS.

On the 15th of December, 2023, I entered a parking lot through an entrance directly adjacent to ****** * restaurant at 1131 Broadway, Cincinnati 45202. Upon returning to my car a couple hours later, I found it had been "booted". I was forced to pay $150 to have the boot removed. There were several other vehicles in the lot that had been booted as well. Section 4513.601 "Private tow-away zones" of the Ohio Revised Codes states that a Private tow-away zone must have a sign: "...that is visible from all entrances to the property..." The entrance I used did not have such a sign visible.

On 11/7/2022 at approximately 12:15pm I parked in an empty lot off 7th street (i now know to be *** * *** *** ********** ** *****), I went in next to the entrance with a large P. There were several entrances. I parked in an unmarked spot, no signage anywhere near the spot. I was there maybe 30 minutes to have lunch with my sis and when I came out there was a boot on my car. a flyer on my windshield stated to call the number ###-###-####. I did. They said to scan the barcode and pay $150 or a tow truck would take my car. I missed time at work and lost $150. I was forced to pay or be stranded.

My Bank Debit card was charged $150.00 on October 3, 2022, for a charge that I did not authorize. I called the number listed on my bank account and it goes to a personal cell phone (###-###-####). When I spoke with the person answering this phone, I explained my fraudulent concern and they told me to email a ***** account. I do not feel comfortable emailing a non-business email account and providing additional confidential information. The person answering the phone hung up on me. I would like a refund of $150.00 for a charge on my account that I did not authorize.

This company put a “boot lock” on my vehicle in a lot in Covington KY that has very limited signage. The spots are Not labeled as private and there is one small sign stating you can not park there that is not noticeable from the spaces you park. $150 charged for a boot removal fee for a car parked for one hour in an area we are not from is excessive. All other searches for other reputable companies state they do not “boot” vehicles for a first offense. This is unethical. The same timeframe we finished eating this company had “booted” five other vehicles in same lot. All because of improper limited one small sign that states not to park there. This is an unethical company who is intentionally limiting signage to “set people up” because at $150 per car boot they are making a ton of money by having their small not well visible sign. The other patrons of same restaurant who were “booted” and came out during our ordeal all stated same. No one saw the sign!!!!!! I have attempted to contact this company and send my dispute only to receive the email back “what is the last four digits of the credit card used” to which I applied several days ago with no reply back. I have resent this email two additional times and still no reply. For a company to “boot” a total of six cars in a one hour period us excessive And is an indicator that this business has shady unethical practices.

The city of Covington has strict rules and regulations in regard to public parking and private parking. The laws and rules exist for a reason no matter how minuscule or unimportant they may appear. This customer was booted in an attempt to offer her a warning and a discounted alternative to being towed. Please pay for parking when you visit paid parking lots to avoid any additional fees.
