    I reached out to Exquisite Event Center on 2/16/24 at 9:24am responding to a deal that they were promoting on their social media to rent their venue for $500. I made an appointment to look at the hall the same day. I went and liked the hall. I booked them for my event for 11/2/24. I paid them 2 payments on 2/16/24 for a total of $500. I reached out to them on 9/19/24 stating I was paying $175 to go towards the balance. I asked them if I could pay cash and was told I had to pay the same way I paid the original payment. I was then instructed to to send the payment to a different cash app from the original payment. I sent payment and asked for confirmation. I never received confirmation. I continued to reach out asking for an updated invoice and never received a response. As of 10/10/24 at 9:31am there has been no communication from Exquisite Event Center. My event is 3 weeks away and now I have to find a new venue and pay additional money

    If your going to bash our business on social media platforms your event can get cancelled we told you we were backed up with calls and texts your event is not until November ! We have events this week that’s getting handled your not a priority at the moment because of the event of you event and someone called you and left a voicemail

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. I did not bash this business on social media. I stated the facts. I was contacted today at 1:46pm after almost 30 days of no contact. I was then told that my event was not a priority. Gabby called and then she text me in which I responded. They said they could cancel my event and offer a refund. I agreed since my event wasn’t a priority. I asked when could I expect a refund. I was told by Gabby that she would let the manager know and it would get processed as soon as possible.

    I paid a deposit for an event to occur on August 2nd initially, then was scheduled instead in error for August 3rd and had to cancel my ticketed event. I rescheduled for September 13th and my event was canceled by management 24 hours before due to the owner recieving some type of threats. I again had to refund and take loss on a caterer and tickets for my event. They are now refusing to refund my money. This is an unprofessional and shady company.

    This customer struggled to pay there initial balance the customer rescheduled one date on her own my receptionist will provide more information when she’s back in office Thursday the customer did receive a 20.00 payment the customer was told she will receive partial payments as she has paid

    [There has been no date or time line given for the processing of my refund. I have been inconvenienced and lost additional funds on behalf of this company. The agreed upon balance was paid to them and whether the event was rescheduled previously has no relevance. A 24 hour before a scheduled event cancellation is unacceptable and I would like to be compensated for my losses expeditiously.

    So I booked mu daughter a Sweet 16th Birthday party for Sunday July 28th. The communication with the business was horrible everything was explained through text only talked to a lady receptionist 2-3 times prior to the event day and everything was not explained in full correctly far as the security deposit for clean up and damaging fees. I was told 2 days before the event that it was a deposit of $250 due in case of any damages (not including cleaning up properly. No one specified that we needed to bring our own cleaning supplies including sprays, mops, sweeper & duster. Didn't tell us we had to take out trash or clean up the entire place inch by inch. When I got their everything was decorated wasn't even greeted by anyone and the alarm went off and cops come up asking why we was their. This company didn't explain everything in writing or have me sign paperwork explaining everything and I know I can't get all of my security deposit back but some would be well appreciated.

    Here are the details of the conversations we had with ****** and his wife. Their outstanding balance is $390.00 as they had only paid $800.00. They had reserved the silver package initially priced at $1,175.00 but received a 20% discount, making it $940.00. The $390.00 comprises the unpaid amount from the package and a $250.00 refundable cleaning and damage fee. They had the venue from 6 pm to 10 pm but arrived 2 hours early at no extra cost. Since they stayed past 10 pm, an additional hour charge of $100 was applied. They left between 10:35 pm and 10:40 pm. Following the extra time, the wife mentioned concerns about cleaning up confetti and potential charges. After an inspection, it was clarified why their deposit was withheld.
