- Additional Info:In early 2023, BBB received a sudden influx of BBB Scam Tracker Reports and a customer review regarding Trust Strategies. This prompted BBB to initiate an investigation. In these Scam Tracker reports consumers indicate they were contacted by Trust Strategies after applying for a position on an online job board. In early March 2024, BBB requested information from the company, but BBB has yet to receive a response. One consumer told BBB that Trust Strategies advertises a position online as a "Customer Service Assistant Shipping Coordinator. They make you work for a month without pay delivering packages to the UPS offices, they promise they will pay you after a month. After people work a month later this company disappears and they never pay." BBB advises the public to use caution when considering employment for positions such as these since packages and money sent to "employees" may have been obtained illegally. Consumers may find themselves unknowingly aiding criminals in money laundering schemes by participating in reshipment scams. Such victims can find themselves prosecuted for aiding and abetting fraud schemes.
