            On 6/13/2024 I had a eye exam which is paid by our insurance never had a problem for 20 yrs , until fairview billed our insurance as a office visit and not a eye exam, simple call up and get fixed this is after we sent them $100 , because our insurance said we owe this, did not realize this is billed incorrectly, 1st answer when we Called Fairview they said I told them I (said) had other eye issues still trying to find out what was said, then answer #2 its my medical issues that I said to DO Elizabeth ****** I know I have cataracts, and she said we'll talk next year about that, I thought when you went to a exam your yearly in most cases isn't this conversation after / during any exam they direct you for a course of action, cannot get this point across to the personal there, answer #3 its billed correctly just kept repeating this over and over and over, there is some sort off billing problem, weather the doctor putting wrong code in or office , our insurance said this has happened before, I guess when the doctor finds something wrong and fills out paperwork and it says medical issues Cataracts I guess this turns into a office visit at fairview eye center, I scheduled a eye exam not a visit ! they over charge on my deductible by $5, I sign a paper that stated refractor was $25 they billed the insurance $40 not covered on my insurance, this whole setup is wrong from the get go , when I talked to the doctor she said oh billing will be able to take care of this, I told her they are no help that's why I was calling you, the office manager was no help at all just kept saying my medical condition, they act like I made a office visit for my medical condition , Not , billing dept is rude and unprofessional , with my wife trying to get to the bottom of this, the office manager just kept telling me your medical condition , they just don't get it its billed incorrectly, how ever this shakes out we are done with this place , one and done!
