The owner of Gimme a hand Academy is very unprofessional. She tends to throw her weight around. Because she owns the business. She talks to the students aggressively and creates a hostile environment. If the student responds they are told to clock out, on numerous occasions I wanted to speak up but I knew if I spoke up I would be terminated. I paid my full tuition 2,525 of my hard earned dollars. In my opinion I believe that she kicks students out because every hour that is missed has to be made up and you have to pay over 80 dollars a day. I had a few more hrs to finish and I was terminated because I didn't understand something. instead of her showing me the correct way, she got upset and made a scene in front of the class. And this wasn't the first time that I was confronted by the the owner of Gimme a hand academy. I should have been able to ask a question. I feel that myself and other students were treated unfairly on more than one occasion at her establishment. The environment is so uncomfortable and hostile. If you speak up you will be terminated. I do not recommend this school to anyone. There is no reason why any business should mistreat anyone after their money is invested. I came there for one reason and it wasn't fulfilled.

The complaint has been reviewed and pursuant to the contract and the student handbook that you received during enrollment you are not eligible for a refund due to completing more that 50% of the course and coursework. All hours have been forwarded to the state board where you can submit a request to have those completed hours forwarded to continue your studies at another institution if you so choose. Best of luck in your future endeavors
