A tech was out to my home on 12-20-24 to do an inspection for a bird that we believe is getting inside our basement wall. He said it was mice and would be in contact to set bait on the outside. He spent about 45 minutes going around the house and taking pictures. We were charged $299 plus tax. No follow up was done until I complained today. I was told the charge was for coming out and taking pictures. We have caught a couple mice in the past since we live out in the country a bit. The tech had me sign a blank page on his tablet stating it was for the service call. We were sent an email with pictures and some other information that is not understandable. No actual work was done!

Our service call for inspection is $299.95, plus tax. During the call to schedule, we provided our service quote and animal removal fees. The inspection was completed on 12.19.24 and revealed mice activity, but no bird activity. During the inspection, our technician walked around the home with ** and identified potential entry points for the mice. For mice, we offer interior baiting, exterior baiting, and entry point repairs. All documents were provided by our technician and sent to the email on file for the account. We did not receive the authorized documents, so no further follow-up was conducted.
We received a follow-up email regarding the property on 1/6/24, requesting a refund and stating that there should not have been a charge of $299.95 plus tax. A follow-up email was subsequently sent, explaining our services and including all documents & photos provided during the inspection.Review from Paul C

I had a problem with squirrels ripping of shingles and clawing their way under the peak of my roof causing lots of damage, and they even got burrowed in to have little squirrels. I called squirrel busters and they suggested I call Critter Control and have a guy named ******** **** come take a look, and did he ever. He set traps, took pictures , explained the process to me and, discussed plan A and B if A didn't work with the traps. After the fifth day, he climbed on the ladder and with trap in hand and holding the long handled trap device to reach in, he wound up reaching in with his heavily gloved hand to get the mangy squirrel out of my ceiling under the soffits then he got the little ones out and then covered up the sizeable hole with some heavy temporary cardboard to prevent any birds from getting in, which I did see one unsuccessfully try, while I now wait for my roofer to come and fix the damage. He was very polite and professional everytime he came and in the end did a great job of releaving my tremendous stress that had been growing each day. I highly recommend Critter Control and a special shoutout to ******** **** for an excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone with a similar problem. Very happy home owner in Centerville Oh.
