I think that I would honestly give them zero stars if I could. My wife and I went to look for an apartment here based on a previously good experience with another property manager. We were told that we would either be approved for a $150 administration fee, or "approved with a condition" for a $250 administration fee, due at time of move in. At no time did the word, "denial," ever come up. My wife and I blatantly asked ******, the one that gave us the tour, if our bankruptcy would be an issue, to which we were told no. Now, we told them that we do not have credit cards after the bankruptcy, but we do have prior credit history from before we filed that can show that we did well with paying things at the right time. Our apartment we live at now even gave us a great referral, but we were told yesterday that we were denied due to our bankruptcy, not having enough credit cards, and having too many inquiries on our credit report (they have been the only one.)Now keep in mind, this is after we were told that the bankruptcy wasn't an issue, we paid their $100 application fee, and $150 fee to take the apartment off the market. We also mentioned that we are working on getting our two dogs registered as emotional support animals, and confirmed that the pet fees and monthly pet rent would be waived. After we received the denial, we messages ****** to ask why we were denied, especially when we were told that we would either be approved, or approved with condition. ****** told us that she had no information on the matter, and to call the company that sent us the denial. Well, the company themselves are a consumer reporting agency, and ***, the representative that I spoke with said that they have no hand in making the approval or denial decision, and we would have to talk to ****** directly. We emailed ****** after this and have not heard a response as of yet. Keep in mind, they stated that they advised us to put in our notice before processing too.
