On December 19, 2023 i wired a total of $2,504.97 to Trans Auto Part LLC’s bank “Fifth Third Bank” to purchase an engine for 1993 Lexus SC300. I was informed by their employee Estella Paganza that they received the $2,504.97. Estella Paganza then told me that they would test the engine to make sure it worked and then call me when the engine was being shipped. A representative from Trans Auto part LLC never called, and they have since ignored my phone calls.Initial Complaint

I ordered a Toyota truck bed from them they told me it was available in Alabama I live in Illinois so I drove all the way to Alabama and place was closed but was able to get a hold of the owner of the scrap yard he told me he never heard of trans parts and never had the bed they sent me pictures of after making my deposit I’ve tried for two months to get the money refunded they have lied to me several times saying they will refund so now I have no choice but to sue them because I’m out my time my money and have nothing the guy that goes by ***** ***** is a complete fraud and so is this company they scam everybody and need to be shut downBusiness response

As we have already talk with the customer regarding the issue we have provided the address to the customer but he was not happy with the color of a used bed still we asked him that we will refund you the $300 but he is calming to get refund of $2000 which is impossible because we have just charged him $300 including tax .Customer response

My complaint is with Trans Auto Parts of **** ****** *** **** * ******** **** ***** *** I had ordered a tail gate for a 2012 F150 with ladder and back up camera and in good shape no dents or rust with colour preference being black. My main contact was an individual who went by the name of *****. He wanted payment of $1021.00 before he could proceed. I asked for pictures of the tail gate which he sent me so I trusted him for this transaction.He wanted a money transfer from my bank to his. This was done on November 18,2022. ***** stated that the tail gate would be shipped right away and that I would have it within 7 to 10 business days. After that time had passed no tail gate arrived. I called ***** and he made excuse after excuse saying with Christmas etc shipping was slow but the tail gate was on its way. There were many telephone conversations following with lots of promises. Just before Christmas I called ***** again and he said that if the tail gate never arrived by the first week of January then a refund of my $1021.00 would happen. The first week of January came and went and still no tail gate and no calls from *****. I called him and he promised a refund which would come in 2 to 7 days. Never happened. ***** continued to make stories of why no refund. He just kept lying and lying to me. He would blame the billing dept, the bank, and other workers and still no refund. I called the police and they intervened. They called Trans Auto and reported back to me that a refund was on the way. Trans Auto called me and confirmed this but still no refund. ***** called back and said he would personally refund the money. He said he could pay me $400. then with the balance coming the end of the month. Nothing happened. ***** told me he had been suspended from work. This to turned out to be another lie.. I spoke with a couple other people who said they were in the billing department about the promised refund. Both these ladies named Estella and Nancy said the refund was done and to check with my bank. I checked with my bank and no refund.. I believe all the workers in Trans Auto are liers and have no intention of telling the truth. This has been proven to me over and over again. They did talk very sincerely and convincingly and politely but never truthfullyBusiness response

Customer Still have the tail gat which is wrong according to him we still told the customer we will refund him. As we already try doing it once the money was recredited in over account so we asked Customer that can we try to refund you 400 to see if it will work or not he said no. So we asked him to give us some time to resolve the problem and we will refund you your money it will take time but we will refund himCustomer response

My initial contact was around Nov 14, 2022 with the money transfer being done on Nov 18, 2022. That paper from the bank is in the text photos confirming this. Trans Auto Parts has copies as well

On 3/6/2023 I placed an order over the phone for a replacement engine for my 2010 GMC Terrain. The amount for the engine was $2, 250 and after taxes and fees the total came to $2,499. I decided to send the money via wire transfer thinking it was the safest option. I gave them the address of my mechanic on 3/6/23 and the part never arrived. on 3/9/23 I contacted them to get tracking information and they told me the truck delivering my part was in a motor accident and they are shipping a different part and will provide me with a tracking number by the end of the day. I never received it. On 3/15/23 I contacted them again requesting tracking information for the new engine and I was told the part could not be shipped to my mechanics address and needed to be shipped to a commercial address. I asked for a refund, and they said they cannot provide me with one. I gave them a commercial address to deliver the part to **** ******* and it has not been delivered and I have not received a refund. I keep getting the run around every time I call.Business response

On 10.26.22, I paid $905 for auto parts by wiring the money from bank to bank, as I don't use Zelle. Their bank was Fifth Third in Cincinnati, Ohio. They sent the wrong part, and I returned it on 11.14.22. I've have called but they do not call back.Initial Complaint

I own a truck a 2005 Duramax diesel. it is very hard to find parts. my truck is in the shop. I really need my truck. Someone referred me to Trans Auto. I called them, and they assured me they could get the parts that I needed. I paid them $1072.00 on 9.20.22 with my Netspend card. They told me they would overnight the parts to my home address. I received a box, and took it unopened to the dealership. The mechanic opened the box and asked me what it was because it was nothing I could use. I called them to say I received the wrong part. they said I would get the right part tomorrow, every day for a month. They have gone back and charged the invoice.
I have been dealing with a guy named Mike. Mike said my mechanic told him to cancel my part order.
They have been promising me a return label for months. I said I don't need a return label, just an address, but they refused to give it to me.
I have been begging them to refund my money, but they have not.

About 3 weeks ago I ordered a driveshaft for a 2016 Dodge Charger. I received it Monday, but it's broken. I called them and they said they would get back to me. I didn't get a call back, so I called them again. I called again today, and they are ignoring my calls. I texted them and they haven't replied.Customer response

bearing part was damaged in delivery 2016 drive shaft with center support damaged, Trans Auto Part knew it was damaged when they bought it from Empire claiming that the customer would take it because he did not need that part of the drive shaft; and they knew it was damaged when they bought it from Empire ; Empire had been forthcoming and told Trans Auto Part the bearing was damaged and would the customer still want it; then Trans Auto part charged him for a complete intact unit which would have been $500, after he bought the damaged one for $50 from Empire

I ordered some classic car doors, and they were not the right fit. I have been trying to return the parts and the company happily took the parts back, but have not refunded me. No contact despite me calling almost every day.Business response

We attempted to refund the money but his bank stopped it. We spoke to the bank and they said there was an issue with his account. He should confirm with his bank that the issue with the account has been corrected, then call us and we will attempt the refund again.Customer response

On June 28,2022 my father was looking for an auto part as his car was down. He has asked me to place the order on his behalf and I coordinated with the website to facilitate payment. Payment was finalized for $442.95 and it’s been over a month and the part has not been received. They have not provided a tracking number as advised and been avoiding our calls. We want this website delisted.Business response
