This construction company was used by me as a general contractor I have written documentation stating things that need to be completed by September 1 of 2022, but as of this day the job is still incomplete. I have dozens of emails and text messages saying the job will be completed but they are no longer answering my phone calls or my text messages or my emails

The work on the drywall on the ceiling in the basketball court, will only be preformed after the homeowner has protected the floor and provided a lift. The stucco work was paid to the company, directly by the homeowner, so he will need to go through them. The sliding door track will be repaired, but he has kicked the two people off the job that would do the work.

Hello, my name is ***** ******r. I was out of state and unable to reply to the message from the contractors and my dispute was closed. I have evidence of all the work that was promised to be completed and that was never done. I will attach. Thank you so much for your time.

The work on the drywall on the ceiling in the basketball court, will only be preformed after the homeowner has protected the floor and provided a lift. The stucco work was paid to the company, directly by the homeowner, so he will need to go through them. The sliding door track was working properly when it was installed. Over the course of 2+ years, Transform has worked to satisfy the issues stated in this complaint.

Transform Construction is just lying. The screen for the sliding door was just installed in April. I don’t understand how you don’t get it. I have signed documentation from Jud your CFO.  I have presented it to the Better Business Bureau and you keep just lying about it. I have 100s and hundreds of text messages of me asking where your people are. Why aren’t they coming to do anything you’re right it took you years to get even close to finishing my job because you wouldn’t respond to any of my text or emails and you wouldn’t get the job done.  The ceiling of the basketball court was supposed to be done before I put the floor in but because you drug your feet I had to go ahead and put the floor in. It’s your job to get the lift it’s your job to protect the floor. It’s your mistakes.  Stucco was paid for by me that surrounded the whole area that you were obligated to repair the area that is bad is your area that you were obligated to repair because you covered up a window you and your company were supposed to cover up the window completely with this Stucco I paid for all of it even though you were obligated to do it. I have all evidence I would like to come in to a BBB location with all of my proof.  This is getting out of hand I’m going to hire a lawyer and sue for emotional damages

TransFORM was unable to complete our renovation with skilled project management and tradesman expertise in a timely manner, foundational to their core service, as advertised in their sales and estimation process. It is clear that this project, with an initial 4-6 month time to completion (started October 5, 2021 and still ongoing 11 months later), was de-prioritized by TransFORM. To date, we paid $290,000 on the schedule they pre-defined, however the remaining $30,000 is to be paid at completion of the work, yet, their employees and tradesmen are focused elsewhere. The detail work and punch list items are extending the project indefinitely to no expense for TransFORM but rather at the expense of their client, our family. We file this report with urgent request that TransFORM complete the work as initially contracted without haste (no later than October 21, 2022) and provide monetary recompense (suggesting that they fully waive our final 10% payment) for the significant delay repeated inability to appropriately manage their own company and vendors and sly and careless misestimates. We also request that TransFORM do not continue to use **** *** as a vendor for our project and we complete flooring through a different vendor and ensure all technical trades are inspected by the City with a TransFORM representative present.

9.23.2022, BBB received a phone call from the business stating they have been in contact with consumer.

    09/23/2022

TransFORM has not addressed our complaint with either my husband or me in person, on the phone or via email. We requested resolution on 3 main areas, all three are unaddressed, please see below:

    1. "Requested outcome: We file this report with urgent request that TransFORM complete the work as initially contracted without haste (no later than October 21, 2022)"

    - no TransFORM employee addressed a completion date or plan to achieve a specific completion date though work is continuing at a slow pace.

    2. "and provide monetary recompense (suggesting that they fully waive our final 10% payment, $30,000) for the significant delay repeated inability to appropriately manage their own company and vendors and sly and careless misestimates."

    - No mention of monetary recompense from any TransFORM employee given the large number of failings and issues presented in the attached evidence; final draw amount on our weekly update remains the same.

    3. "We also request that TransFORM do not continue to use **** *** as a vendor for our project and we complete flooring through a different vendor."

    - Against our request, **** *** has been on site multiple times to analyze issues, a target date to fix issues is not set though we were informed today, 9/23/22, that once appropriate humidity levels reregulate, an additional month of stability is required; no TransFORM employee indicated that another vendor will complete the work.

We continue to work through the punch list, and the issue with **** ***.Had a meeting set-up, but they had COVID, so will reschedule.

    Customer response

    11/07/2022

This complaint is not complete. While some additional punch work is complete, there is still outstanding work along with finalization of hardwood refinish and a negotiation of price. Thus, the three items in the initial complaint are largely still outstanding.
While our family had Covid and a very ill child, this does not constitute a closed request and shall not be used as recourse for TransFORM to avoid answering said request. We request that TransFORM complete response to our complaint as scheduled on 11/9 at 11am; pending outcome of this meeting we will determine whether our complaint was adequately addressed.

    Regards,
