Poor communication, details of ********************** is difficult to get a hold of or find at all.When I got to around $260 left on my plan I was charged 300% interest due to the promotional plan ending which was the only one I was allowed to sign on for at all. Now I am almost at $1,000 in debt with them again with a plan that will continue charging a third of that debt every statement. Their services are designed to trap people by being as difficult to get a hold of as possible & hoping you can't afford to outright pay the entire amount before they overcharge you. I have already paid twice the initial medical bill which was due to an emergency. I will be trying to gather enough funds to file legal action when able. At the very least right now all I can do is share my ***************** others don't fall for their predatory practices.Review from Doree K

Horrible dealing with any representative from here. Have been lied to. Was told to stop making payments on an account since it was in dispute from a business that put a charge on my credit with out my consent. Since comenity representative from off shore (they were working at home) in another country told me stop making payments and that nothing would be marked as late payments,interest,late fees would not happen since it was in dispute. Well...this did not happen. From a balance of a little over $200 it is now close to $2000!!!! When you call them you always get someone "off shore" you have to ask to speak to someone U.S. based and be transferred. Then you get another person working remotely from home (I could hear her dogs barking) lol. Awful to deal with. Beware dealing with them also very high interest rates. This has stressed me out completely I am a disabled senior. Terrible.Review from Jill F

Do not use this bank. they are very difficult to work with. I wanted to pay off my loan and they would not accept a check by mail only my checking account online. They held onto my check for 2 months until I called and raised a fuss - then they told me they could not accept the check I had sent and I had to wait until the end of the month for them to send the check back to me. So they had my check for 3 months and they did not reach out to me. I am still waiting on them to send it back to me.Review from Gabriel R

This bank is nothing less than predators, I bought a big sofa set at big lots, they couldn't bring it in my home because it was too big, so I returned it back to big lots, right after two month they sent me a bill for about $600 interest plus monthly payment, I called them a docen of times and when from so called managers to managers didn't solved nothing them they sent a report to the credit bureau to hurt my credit, so they made me pay $900 money that they stole from me.Review from CICI S

Poor customer service. Our last payment was due on a holiday so banks were closed. We were able to get some money transferred and made the payment on the due date (Jan 1) but it was after 5:00 so it posted on the 2nd and we were charged a late fee. We spoke with 3 customer service **** and the best they could offer was a $15 credit. So ridiculous. We had made 12 on time payments prior to that one and they acted as if they couldnt help us out due to a holiday conflict. Poor serviceReview from Mason S

This bank told me they were going to waive a late fee and close my account. They proceeded to waive half of the fee (didn't mention on the phone they were only waiving half of the fee) and then they sent me a bill for the half they didn't waive plus another $30 fee. When contacted about why I have a $50 dollar balance when my account is closed they said I missed a payment. Not sure how I can miss a payment I don't know I'm on the hook for? The customer service *** said there's nothing they can do because my account is closed. So for their mistake, I'm forced to pay $50 for nothing. Pretty nice scam they're running. If I don't pay now, I'll just keep racking up more $30+ late fees.Review from Kristin R

Terrible company. Do not get a Michaels credit card from them. They charged me a late fee, even though I paid on the due date. This is the first and last time that I'll be using this credit card. Very disappointing.Review from Jeanette b

Father paid his bill in full, certified check mailed. Didn't get there on time due to holidays and was hit with a ***** lc. And they also took back ***** lc from a lc that was waived!!!!! Now he owes ***** Mind you my father is 84 living on SSI and he had to take money out of his savings to pay the acct off. ***** is customer service was willing to help. No response from the CEO *****.******** No wonder there have been court filing. Company has no heart for the elderly and for people who pay the bill in full 4 years early!!!!!Review from Miriam D

This bank is garbage, definitely a third tier bank. Their customer service is completely inadequate and brainless to say the least. Their website is consistently giving error messages and barely works on a good day. And lastly, and possibly the most important one, they dont protect you from fraud. This bank protects the thieves and the scammers instead.
