I had one phone call with a sales *** to sign up for a homeowners policy on a new house I was closing on. They came recommended by my mortgage lender who connected us. They told me they would work together and send the required documents for a smooth closing. This was in September 2024 and I was set to close on my house in December ******* the phone call, he chose the best insurance and said he would send the info to my mortgage lender. After that, I never heard from the *** and I was never given next steps or paperwork to complete. On December 1st, I was notified that my policy was being cancelled because I never signed the application document. Thats when I found out my policy was created for September 2024-September 2025 and my premium increased after an inspection. I was going to receive a prorated refund that would retain the charges for September- December. When I called in, the *** accessed my account and found that a *** originally had the correct effective date but went in on the day of, before or after my closing and changed the policy effective date backwards to September. This insurance company should have safeguards in place to ensure these types of things dont happen. I never signed the application and should mot be held responsible for the error. **************** has only argued with me and said I should give my closing documents to ******** and hope they make things right. They wont give me access to the recorded call or my signed documents to show I aknowledged the incorrect dates.

Great customer service. They are great at explaining things so you understand and great savings and I appreciate the fact they work with my mortgage company so it is team effort. The customer service is phenomenal.
