I purchased a Nissan Pathfinder 2016 used it is a lemon. I purchased an extended warr .plan. In less than 6 months. I began to have issues ie: transmission there were covered by extended warr. had issues after the repairs. Continually bring back to the dealer 4th time since May 31st to dealer about the same problem with the air conditioner not cooling. They did not have a lease vehicle to lend me so I had to wait for repair. They have had my car for approx 2 mons. on this issue. I have to pay a deductible each time i take it in to them.. they ordered a part a month ago & it has not come in yet. this time the Service Mgr. told me this was a in house fix they would eat it. I want them to find a part They would have to charge me $100-$150 for a diagnostic to be run. I would think they would take that on themselves after all these times coming back in for the same problem. Also a knocking in the front left end. find out what that is. wanting to take a long trip south & west. Also when I start up the car I hear a squealing that sounds like a belt repair.? They say they will look at it & return it back to me not fix or talk to me about it. They need to get your repairs right when a car is brought in & I have brought it up to them. They seem to get by with the least they have to do. This bad Customer Service.

****** has a part on backorder. We have elevated the process as much as possible. With the supply chain issues, we have experienced a backlog of parts. We have provided ****** with a rental car at no charge. His car was not purchased from us we are just trying to fix it correctly

I bought my car on the 19th for $7,800. 2 weeks later to the day My AC compressor went out which also shredded my serpentine belt. I haven't had the car long enough to even make the first payment and I'm already facing a $2,000 repair bill. The serpentine belt had been replaced just before I bought the car. So I was unable to see any damage to the belt that would have set off a red flag. Furthermore, the AC compressor itself was lubed up real nice so you guys could push this problem onto the buyer. Management refuses to take my call to discuss this issue. Finance has refused to get back to me after several messages. Even the salesman who sold me the vehicle is Angry with you guys for kicking me the curb. After 12 hours of calling back and forth with the original salesperson the only answer I got... At 9:00 at night... Was for me to pay the cost of getting it towed to your facility and that you guys would contact me with the repair bill. Of course at 9:00 on a Saturday when you guys finally decided to answer me, no one was available to talk numbers. Your solution was for me to foot the bill to get it towed there and then just pay whatever you decided I should have to pay. Do you even know what disingenuous business practices are? Because I'm pretty sure this is the literal definition As it sits right now, after financing, you sold me a $10,000 paperweight. I shouldn't have to pay a third of the vehicles value just to keep it on the road 10 days after I bought it. I have to take out a loan to fix my brand new car and at this point it's only fair for you to pay that loan. You guys tried to hide a major repair with a new belt and some lube. I no longer have any faith or trust in Germain. I do not want you guys working on my car. All I was asking in the beginning was for some help. Maybe a financing option with your mechanics. But you're complete lack of response and accountability has me pushing for the whole repair coming out of your pocket

    Sara,

Sorry for my delay in responding. I have been on vacation. Mr. ***** accuses us of lubing an AC compressor to get it to pass inspection. In my 30 plus years i have never heard of that. We at Germain would never temporarily fix anything for our customers. This part obviously failed. We offered to have Mr. ***** tow the vehicle to us if he had AAA. We advised him we would tow on Monday if he couldn't get it here. We spoke to Mr. ***** to make arrangements to get it towed and he refused. He wants to repair it at a place of his choice. The only way we will help Mr. ***** is if we have the vehicle towed here. We will pay for the tow and more than likely the repair. We have to inspect the vehicle first and figure out what failed and why. Let me know how else i can help.
