Thank you for sharing. She did not sign a lease, and unfortunately, failed to provide the correct amount of money. But I accepted it. Then she began to be picky, and I began to feel we would not be a good fit for her, so I returned her money. We hope she finds something she likes.

The deposit was $1,050 for the house. She showed up late with $250 and then promised to pay another $200 which she did not do. She walked through the to be re-modeled house and was really picky as to things that she wanted done. I began to realize that this may actually not be a good fit and my maintenance man felt the same way. She now claims that she would have nowhere to live; however, when I asked her why, with a supposed $6,800 monthly income, she had almost no money, she said that she had 2 houses in California and had to pay the mortgages. She is not homeless. I really dodged a bullet and rented to a great previous renter!

I have lived on King Ave for 4 years, I didn't have problems until about 2 years ago. I had bed bugs and inform ***, he contact the building manger who said he would get it clean up, well after 3 weeks of waiting nothing happen. So I had to handle it pay with my own money ( big mistake). After I had a stroke and return home he call me and ask if I could remove my bicycle since I was not using it, when I refuse he terminated my lease. after dealing with his harassment I was force to leave. I would not live in any of his buildings he is the very definition of a slum landlord. he will take and take but never try to help.

Thank you for sharing. This individual lived in a home close to Battelle, which is a perfectly nice area. He was quite elderly, and unable to ride his bike safely any longer. After four years, he needed more care and moved.

The renter lived like a real slob who crammed his room such that a person could hardly walk in! This is a nice rooming house that is just south of the OSU Hospital in a great area. I did make him remove both his van, which was an eyesore and his bike that he was unable to ride. I did tell him that he really needed to live in assisted living due to his stroke. He refused to move onto the first floor in a room that I offered and I did have to eventually evict him due to non-payment of rent. It became a really bad fit to have him there.
