Dear *********** am writing to file a formal complaint against Seamless AI for unauthorized charges to my account, improper business practices, and refusal to issue a refund.I was a customer of ********************** in 2024 but ceased using their services last year. Despite this, they charged my account on Jan *********, renewing my subscription without providing prior notification or consent. The charged amount was also $2,600, which exceeds my previous contract value by several hundred ************ is a summary of the issue:1.Lack of Notification and Consent:Seamless AI did not notify me about the impending renewal or the new subscription cost.I did not agree to any renewal or increase in the contract value.2.Repeated Unauthorized Payment Attempts:On December 28th 2024, Seamless AI attempted to charge my account, but the payment was declined by my bank.After noticing the declined payment, I contacted Seamless AI and explicitly stated that I no longer wanted to use their service and requested to unsubscribe.Despite my request, Seamless AI continued to attempt charging my account multiple times daily over a 17-day period, without my consent.3.Unauthorized Charge and Refusal to Refund:On jan 16th 2025, Seamless AI successfully charged my account ******** immediately contacted the company to request a refund, but they refused to issue one.This situation has caused me significant financial and emotional distress, especially as I was on paternity leave during this time and was focused on supporting my family.I believe Seamless AIs actions constitute unfair business practices and a breach of trust. I respectfully request the following resolutions:1.A full refund of $2,600.2.Confirmation that my subscription has been canceled and that no further charges will be made to my account.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am filing this complaint against Seamless.AI due to unauthorized charges, lack of transparent communication, Unauthorized Billing and Lack of Clear Auto-Renewal Disclosure, After not using their service for several months, Seamless.AI charged our company account USD $1,940.00 without prior notice, clear consent, or opportunity to confirm the renewal. This auto-renewal was not communicated to us at any point, and Seamless.AI failed to provide accessible cancellation options, as required by consumer protection standards.We have made numerous attempts to contact the account manager and also customer support via email and phone to resolve this issue by cancelling and refunding the unauthorized charge from Dec 2024, but have received no response about it.Initial Complaint

This company has sold my information to a company called NowConquestDynamics. NowConquestDynamics has been contacting me so I called this company back to see who they aren as I have no business dealings with them. they were "provided" my information from Seamless.Ai. I have made several attempts to contact this company, but they hide behind an automated phone sysytem, and refuse to return my call. I am on the national Do Not Call List. I also have all reporting agencies restricted from any kind of lead generation. I am attempting to find out why this company has me associated with yet ANOTHER (THIRD) company that I have never had dealings with. They have stolen my information from somewhere, (and part of the information has me associated with a company I have never worked with or for.) They seem to think they have the right to sell my information to whomever they wish, I guess it's cool someone is getting paid for harrassing me.Initial Complaint

We are a small family business that signed up and paid in full for an annual subscription for Seamless.ai software to obtain contact info for prospective leads. The software didn't work as advertised and we had a significantly high bounce back rate for biz dev emails. We notified the company about this several times and intent NOT to renew our annual subscription. Not sure why, but the company didn't cancel our subscription and instead auto-renewed and sent us a collection notice; we haven't used the software for a long time because it was insufficient. Now we have a collection agency, The Leviton Law Firm in ******, ** and ***************************** harassing us for collections of $3,300.00. Again, we haven't used the software in a long time as it didn't work as advertised and led to high failure rates of emails and we notified the company of intent NOT to renew the subscription and they went ahead and automatically did this anyways without our permission.Business response

No written notice was provided by the customer 60 days prior to the contract renewal as agreed upon via the auto-renewal clause via the customer's contract. I subscribed to Seamless.ai on October 4, 2022, for $954.24. Despite minimal usage due to the software not meeting my needs (which is documented in my support conversations), they auto-renewed my subscription on October 4, 2023, for $1,049 without any prior notification.
Upon discovering the charge, I immediately contacted them to cancel and request a refund. My experience with their customer service has been absolutely unacceptable: • Multiple unanswered requests to speak with a supervisor • Account representative (Henry Coke) repeatedly promised supervisor callbacks that never happened • Weeks of delays before responding to initial cancellation request • Additional weeks of delays before providing their final "no refund" decision • Multiple ignored attempts to resolve via phone, email, and website chat
The company refuses a refund citing their 60-day cancellation policy, despite:
1. My documented minimal usage of their service
2. Early support conversations showing the software couldn't meet my needs
3. No notification of impending renewal
4. Zero usage of the service since renewal except to request cancellation
Their auto-renewal tactics appear designed to trap customers into additional year-long commitments at a higher rate ($1,049 vs. original $954.24) rather than retain satisfied customers. Potential customers should be extremely wary of doing business with a company that relies on forced renewals rather than service quality and customer satisfaction to maintain revenue.

In reviewing this customers account we found there to be 18 different times in 2024 where we've called, left voicemails and emailed asking for, or providing support. Including a call directly from the customer looking for support using the platform which is included in our CRM/Screenshot here.
Also attached is the signature on the contract that clearly states that this is an auto-renewing contract and notice must be given with at least 60 days notice with intent to cancel.

I reject Seamless.ai's response for the following reasons:
Their rebuttal mischaracterizes the nature of our communications. While they cite 18 interactions, they fail to acknowledge that these were primarily:
-My attempts to cancel service
-My repeated requests for supervisor escalation
-My ongoing efforts to resolve this billing dispute
-Not product support requests or active use of their serviceThey reference their screenshot showing my inquiry about email lookup capabilities - this actually supports my position, as it documents my early discovery that their product couldn't meet my basic business needs.
While I acknowledge signing a contract with an auto-renewal clause, my complaint centers on their predatory business practices:
-Extremely slow response times to cancellation requests
-Ignored requests for supervisor escalation
-Using the 60-day cancellation window as a technicality to trap customers into another year of service
-No proactive renewal notification, despite sending weekly sales emails trying to upsell additional servicesImportant Context:

They had me sign a 12-month contract, and we found out that most of the data on their website is outdated and fake. The search function on their website doesnt work properly; when we searched for audio-visual companies, it showed restaurants instead.We contacted their support team and they scheduled a meeting with us for two months later. We waited until that time (November 19th), but received no call or contact from them. Now, they want us to reschedule the meeting for another two months later! In reviewing the customers complaint, we've found no evidence to suggest that our platform is providing fake results. This customer has used over 2000 credits already (screenshot) and a search for audio/visual companies returns results related to the SIC of Audio/Visual.

I began using seamless AI as a data collection service over the summer. I was promised several things on the initial sales call, and over and over again now they have not provided the accuracy of data or contact information that they initially promised.I have a one-year contract with them, but I find that they have not appeal there end of the contract which is to provide me with accurate email addresses, and phone numbers.This has caused my business thousands of dollars and additional fees and last time because of the damage the poor quality of data has done to my servers and email campaign systems.I have asked for them to stop billing me several times, but their team is almost completely unresponsive and will not answer my calls.Business response

The quality of the credits is the problem. I have experience in extremely high bounce rate (meaning Im spending more than $1 per useful email over the term of the contract.)to my knowledge, I have not been at any point offered a way to get out of this contract, despite asking several times.

We signed up for a subscription to Seamless.ai in September of 2021 on behalf of our business, *************************************** of **********, ********. The intent was to search through professional contacts to find clinical managers. The service proved not to be very successful for us, so we attempted to cancel the service at the one year contracted end. Since then, Seamless.ai has continued to bill us monthly despite me having tried to cancel many times including calling directly to an employee named ****** who has been leaving me voicemails that our payment has not gone through. After over an additional YEAR of being charged for this unwanted service, I replaced our card for billing with one that has no money and no available credit to stop the flow of money to this unethical, criminal enterprise. I just left another voicemail for ****** (12/2/24 8:41am MST) because I got notified on my phone once again that Seamless.ai failed to debit their monthly payment. I said again in the voicemail that they need to cancel our account. If this isnt resolved immediately, we will be calling on our attorney to recoup every ***** they have collected from us beyond the initial one year contract.Customer response
