On August 21 2024, a check was cashed from our company, ************************************, to Signaram of Worthington. This was a deposit for an outdoor sign for the front of our building that was required by the city of ***********. **** *****, the owner of Signarama was sent the exact specs on July 22 2024, of how the sign was to be built and the requirement the city would need in order for the project to be in compliance the city.On August 30 2024, Signarama sent us a proof of the design, which was totally incorrect from the specs that were sent to him.I contacted **** by phone about the changes that needed to be made in order to pass inspection by the city a few times. He ignored those changes and sent the incorrect specs to the city. He was contacted by **** ****** from the city of *********** who wanted to help **** make the corrections on October 1. I checked in with **** on October 3rd to see if he had heard from **** and he said he didnt. I called **** on Oct 4th, and asked him if he made the proper changes and he said he did but he was waiting to hear from ****. **** told me **** never tried to contact him. I contacted **** again on October 9th, after **** said he had contacted ****, and asked if **** contacted him and he said no, but that he gave conditional zoning approval so we could move forward, but that **** needed to do a few more things to get final. **** never did that. **** never provided us the sign, when he knew we had a deadline with city compliance and to let customers know who we were. I have talked to **** a few times and sent him an email October 28th asking for our money back. When I talk to him, he promises he will get back to me in a certain timeline, and has never do so. He never responds to my emails. We paid him $4000, he never provided us with the product we paid for. Not having our sign has caused consumer confusion, which in turn has financially hurt our business. We request all of our money back!

On May 16, 2023 at 9:53 p.m. I inquired with Signorama via email about installing a sign for a new Business. I received a confirmation email from the owner of the franchise at Signorama, **** *****. I gave him the specs of what I wanted. He emailed me an estimate and requested a credit card number for his file. I gave it to him in good faith. After four months of emails and phone calls. I wrote him an email stating that I was discontinuing my business with him. My expectations of having a sign designed and installed were only met partially. Signorama applied for a permit, and that is as far as they got in the process after five long months. I hired a different person to install the sign which they did promptly and correctly. I finally reached Dave via phone and explained that I would gladly pay for the permit fee from the city of Dublin which is $510.00. Dave charged an additional permit preparation fee, submittal fee, permit process management fee, and a bond fee which brought the total to $1010. On June 1, Signorama charged my credit card $2590 with no work being performed from his company except filing for the permit. I agreed to pay the permit fee, but Signorama still charged me the full amount without doing any work other than permit processing? I contacted his corporate multiple times via email and phone and they never got back with me. Signorama has withdrawn $2590.00, plus $1010.00 on top of it with a total of $6600.00. I have copies of emails, bank statements and estimates for your review. I am disgusted that someone would steal money from another person under the impression that they can get away with it. This situation has effected me emotionally and financially. I have documented all communications and transactions to support my case. I am filing a complaint with you as a consumer in hopes you will provide protection and financial reconciliation by resolving this matter and recovering the funds.
