I went last year, July 2023, because I was having what I thought was a sleep apnea issue (it was not, the symptoms disappered). I saw a person, I don't know if she was even a nurse, certainly not a doctor, and we discussed my issues and she said I should do a sleep study. I never did do it because I just didn't feel comfortable at that place. Anyhow...I had paid a co-pay and never heard from them until.....this week, July 2024, I get hit with a $252 bill. For WHAT??? And the original price was $400!!! They took it down probably after going around with my insurance company, who have paid absolutely nothing to these people. They will get $10 a month from me and that's it. I am warning people to stay away.and do not go here. Go through Fairfield Medical, or another TRUSTWORTHY company, your MD, your hospital system. This is a sham. Shame on them.

Where to start? They cancelled my appointment days before, and couldnt schedule me any sooner than another month. I had scheduled the appointment b/c it had been at least 6 months since my last visit, and I needed my machine checked. I was completely paid up on my account then received a bill for almost $500 for services in the prior year. I tried to call billing on two separate occasions w no response. I got to my appointment and was told Id have to pay a portion of the bill in order to be seen. I was also told they would contact the office and billing managers to contact me..still nothing. They said that prior employees hadnt been charging patients appropriately and that was the reason for the large bill. *** asked for my entire billing history and havent received anything

I was having difficulty sleeping and my doctor referred me to Columbus Sleep Consultants at ************** ************ They scheduled me an appointment months out and did not do any kind of reminder call. Every time I contact the office no one answers the phone. They don't return phone calls and when you show up and ask them questions no one has an answer. Before they had even looked at my notes for my doctor they told me I needed a CPAP machine. I hadn't even had a sleep study at this point. The doctor I think she's a doctor anyway, came in the room told me I needed to see *** probably and then said they were short-staffed for sleep studies there so I would have to do a home sleep study. So I got the equipment delivered and did the sleep study. When I went back to the office to get the results they didn't even tell me the results they just said yep we were right you need to cpap machine. Not once was the data from my sleep study discussed with me or even shared. It was just in a folder that they gave me. The machine was given to me at another appointment at which time all they did was show me how to plug it into the wall. I was then basically thrown out of the office because there was only one person working and about 10 people in the waiting room. At home I struggled to figure out how to use the machine properly. When I called to ask if someone could help me I was told there were no available appointments with respiratory therapists because they were short staffed and two"Figure it out." Fast forward 2 months later and I am diagnosed with heart failure, which they should've caught. The cardiologist explains that when I attempt to lie flat when sleeping all the fluid in my lungs around my heart begin compressing causing me to feel like I'm drowning which causes me to stop breathing and sit up straight. When I told them I had a CPAP machine the cardiologist laughed and said, "Let me guess, you went to Columbus Sleep Consultants, right? They just want to sell machines."
