I've used them three times now since 2019. Been great every time. 1st time: their quote was about half the competitor who seemed to specialize in techy-fashion choices over pricing. 2nd time: their quote was $200 lower than a different competitor who is also great - here I think they could provide a lower price due to a larger/ more capable team (competitor was a one-man show). 3rd time: got a chord of firewood for the lowest price I've found; he took away some rotten wood for free in exchange for a google review (this one).Review from Thomas O

Had a huge part of tree come down and slam into another tree when hurricane Helene came through in Sept. Called and they came for estimate next day. It was reasonable. Came next day and did a great job. Will use them again if needed.Review from Jeff S

I recently had work done by Tackett tree service and I must say, they did an outstanding job. They worked at my residence as well as a rental property over a three day period. Josh Tackett was great to work with and his crew did an amazing job. They asked several times for my approval on different items and all were very polite. Great crew! Clean up was perfect. I can't recommend Tackett Tree Service enough! Yesterday, they were working on my neighbor's property, tackling a massive mulberry removal. They were hauling away a ton of branches and grinding down the stumps – it looked like quite the job. Seeing their efficiency, I decided to take a chance and ask for an estimate to grind down some stumps I had leftover from clearing out 600 square feet of mulberry last summer. The price they quoted was very reasonable, and to my surprise, they asked if they could get started right then and there! Even though they still had some clearing to do for my neighbor, they offered to have their crew grind down my stumps immediately. They explained they could knock it out while finishing up next door. Both my neighbor and I were thrilled at the prospect of getting this done same-day! Tackett Tree Service is the epitome of professional and efficient. Their crew was hardworking and courteous, and they left both our properties spotless. I'm so grateful for their flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile. Very kind and professional. They removed all my brush and raked. They removed a downed hickory in my backyard and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend. They will be getting any further servic I need.Review from Karen E

Excellent, professional workers. Prompt and reliable. Worked on removal of two large trees, finished in under 3 hours and cleaned up all sawdust and leaves, took all wood. Replaced all items that had to be moved. I will have them always do my tree work!Review from Greg H.

I had a 4+ foot diameter Burr Oak tree fall in my yard and into my neighbors yard. Tackett"s cut the tree into firewood length and moved it to a convenient place for me to split. The work was done fast and efficient with no cleanup needed. I got an estimate to remove the huge uprooted root ball and will be calling to have them do that service as well.Review from Michael B

I think Tackett Tree services are wonderful,they came highly recommended by our friends,we have also recommended them to others,they removed 2 trees from our front yard,clean up was phenomenal, the crew was kind,professional, and thorough!!!!!
