  I purchased a kitchen cart for $150. When I arrived to pick it up the box was trashed. Owner AMY assured me that her and her husband looked at it and it was "fine." After unpacking the parts it was missing ALL the hardware and instructions. I called and spoke with Amy who told me to call the manufacture for the parts. After unsuccessfully finding parts for a discontinued item I brought the boards back to Lake County Liquidators and asked for a refund which was denied. I was never given a receipt and paid in cash. After going in circles with Amy, she told me that she would get the parts and build the kitchen cart. That was two years ago. She took my money and I have nothing in return. Terrible business practice.

  On July 2, 2022 this business posted a 14’x9’ core instant tent for sale. I purchased this tent and when I got it home and took it out of the box it was a ygy tent, not a core, was not an instant tent, and was a few feet smaller than the tent advertised. I contacted them immediately and they agreed they had posted the wrong tent but would not allow me to return it. This is false advertising which I am pretty sure is illegal.

  I purchased an outdoor patio set online from Lake County Liquidator for $500. Understanding their policies and all sales are final while loading the furniture into my car we realized it was missing the bottom cushions. I was reassured by the co-owner Nick that he would get me the cushions. This is a cash only business so I don’t have a receipt but they are actively on Facebook marketplace selling damage and items missing pieces without letting the customer know. They did try to send me one bottom and one back cushion originally for a chair until they could find cushions that fit. I had multiple text with the co owner letting me know that he is still trying to find me cushions. Today, the owner Amy text me stating they can’t find cushions and there is nothing more they can do for me. In addition, I was told to purchase the same patio furniture from *****, remove the cushions and then return it for a refund. This is what they suggested I do to get cushions free of charge. I have multiple text from both owners showing that they knew about the cushions and they were originally trying to get me cushions now that it’s been 3 weeks and they can’t find cushions they are basically telling me there is nothing more they can do. I paid $500 for a patio set that it is going to cost me a minimum of $200 for cushions. I included a picture of the original post for purchase and a picture of what I received with the temporary cushions they sent me circled in yellow.
