    My first clue about this company should have been upon installation of a new HAVAC system a few years ago when this company could not pass inspection from the City of **********, not just once but twice, for different issues. Since the install I have scheduled a bi yearly checkup of my system. Today I was scheduled between 8:00am and 10:00am arrival time. At 10:30 I get a call from a tech informing me that he was just handed my appointment and that it will take him at least 30 minutes to get my house. This company has no regard for it's customers. Yet, they can send me emails, and texts to remind me of the appointment, but then cannot fulfill their end of the agreement? Well, I am done with them. I would advise that you only use this company if you have to.

    Scheduled an air quality and plumbing evaluation a few days out from the call date. We got an email reminder the day prior confirming the afternoon appointment. The promised two hour window then came and went. No word from the dispatcher. We called them, and were finally informed that the service people were running late from a previous job. Nothing happened for the rest of the day. Did they call us to give us an update? No. Did they acknowledge that the appointment would not be made and attempt to reschedule? No. Did they make any attempt to apologize for their failure? No. They said absolutely nothing, and I assume they will not make any attempt to follow up with us unless we remind them of their error. They are like the plumbing version of Waiting for Godot.

    We deeply regret the inconvenience caused by the missed appointment and the lack of communication surrounding it. Your feedback highlights several issues in how we handled your service request, and for that, we are truly sorry.

    This time of year often presents unique challenges for our industry, especially during extreme weather, but that does not excuse the miscommunication and failure to keep you informed. We fell short of the high standards we set for ourselves and the service you deserve.

    Your reference to Waiting for Godot wasnt lost on us, and it made us reflect on Estragons words: "Nothing happens. Nobody comes, nobody goes. Its awful." We certainly dont want our service to feel like that! Rest assured, we are committed to ensuring that something does happenand that it happens as promised.

    We understand the frustration you must have felt when the two-hour window passed without an update, followed by no follow-up communication or acknowledgment from our team. This is not the level of professionalism or care we aim to provide, and we take full responsibility for our missteps.

    Please accept our sincerest apologies for this experience. We value your time and trust and are taking steps to ensure this does not happen again. Our team is reviewing our processes to improve communication and better manage our scheduling and updates moving forward.

    I actually wrote that review too soon. When someone followed up from a text response I had sent about the missed appointment, we discovered that it was identified as a "repair" rather than an "air quality test". We then decided to reschedule for the next working day, eliminating the plumbing evaluation part of the original request which may have been causing confusion. The morning of the appointment, we were contacted someone at T&G informing us that our appointment had been cancelled because the technician had left the company a while ago and the scheduler had not been aware of it. We were dumbfounded. Why was this happening? Do people in the company not even know what is going on? A little while later, another T&G person left a voicemail stating that we had accidentally been scheduled for a "blower door check" (i.e. from the guy who left the company) rather than an air quality test, and that they could indeed still send someone out if we wanted. At that point we decided to give up and not make any attempt to contact T&G ever again. We could only conclude your company was doing this to us on purpose.

    On Monday 12/02/2024 I called the service number and explained out furnace was completely out of service. I was told that someone would be on site between 4 and 6 PM. Was very disappointed that I had not received an update the entire day. At 6:30 PM I called the service number and was told that my window was now between 7 and 10 PM. At 10PM no one showed up and there was not a call made to tell us that no one was coming that evening. The next morning I called and spoke with Heather. She was very helpful and because of her watchful eye, Ajay B******* showed up that afternoon, diagnosed the problem and ordered the needed control board. Our furnace was operational on Wednesday afternoon. Thank you Heather and Ajay for a job well done.
