We bought our 2015 Winnebago RV from ***. We were told she was going to be serviced, top to bottom, as it should. Well, we live in ours full time. We were told that she needed a new ac unit. They ended up buying 2 new just in case. We had to pay for one of them before it was in our name. Fine. We have it about 2 weeks, 200 ish miles from them in *************. It storms one time and it rains from our ceiling in coach. We automatically call them. They said well theres probably a clog or we can do a water test. We check it, no clog. Its brand new, why would there be something wrong? Unless the technician, ****, that installed it was in a rush and didnt care because it was close to closing time? Dont forget the awning that didnt have the clamp on it when we have it actually serviced a month later, which only added to it breaking plus a bad motor. As well as the roof cleaned and sealed, even though we were told that was all done when we bought it June 21st. The awning arm has now broke, the ceiling is now continuously leaking when it rains. The roof has now been serviced properly. Dont forget the leaking toilet when its flushed or the sink that leaks when turned on, dont worry our service guy actually took the time for those. You should want every single RV off your lot to be the best it can be to get, as *** says, the Review. Thats all he wants. And please, DO NOT GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. Its a waste of money and they dont pay for anything, I promise. Get the inspection from someone else if you really find one here you like. Youll be better off.

n response to your negative review, we Thank You for your business! We did a 140-point safety inspection to the 2015 ** and when you did your walk-thru we showed you Everything was in good working condition. We installed 6 new tires, new ** & engine batteries, two new roof airs and leveling jacks. The water system was hooked up and ******** flushed the toilet in front of ***. The awning was also rolled out to show its working condition with no bad motors. ******** even climbed onto the roof and inspected the condition. She was very picky and wanted to be shown everything working, which our 20 yr ** technician ****** took his time and showed them everything running. ****** rolled out the awning for them.

When they left Findlay OH they went to ***********, which is over 150 miles away. As it says in the review theyre full-time **ers with no reported issues. They use everything in the ** on a daily basis. They have had my (*** ***) personal cell phone number from day one and had no calls from them. Why? Because everything was in good working condition. Then two weeks later they take a road trip to *************. When you travel through Amish Country the roads have severe potholes and its rough. I go down with my wife all the time. That is when the problems occur due to the condition of the roads. Also, she sent me pictures of the awning and it looks like it was in a windstorm which the extended warranty will not cover due negligence by the consumer. The home policy should have covered that. It is important you maintain your maintenance on your ** during any road trips. Example, the toilet leaking. The seal probably busted due to the road conditions.

Finally, we welcome any inspectors anytime. In fact, we have received  good reviews from them! Remember when you purchase a used **, things can go wrong. *** *** and Findlay Truck & ** does not deserve a 1-star review. As of today, everything is still in good working condition, which was not mentioned.

I am rejecting this response because: First, Im not sure who went to ************* because it wasnt us. ***, you didnt show up to the tour until the very end so the fact you think you know what went on is funny. Its not being picky to ask questions. We were told we were getting a walk through to show us how everything worked and if we did have questions, that was the time to ask. But by that statement I guess how you do business is look, dont touch hoping the buyer doesnt uncover the many things wrong with the ** they are being scammed on. I never climbed the roof, I never flushed the toilets nor was the awning ever pulled out for us to inspect. None of those buttons were ever pushed, we were just shown where they were. The only button pushed was for the generator which you were so happy to turn on before we left and I turned off as soon as I was in the driver seat. Im not sure what part of Amish you stay in but we didnt encounter potholes on our drive to the campground we stayed at. So no, the roads are not blame for your techs mistakes. We were told the one ** unit didnt run for the 12 hours that it was tested and we might as well replace both of them, which WE had to pay for even though we didnt even sign paperwork for it to be ours at this point. I never sent you pictures of the awning, I only called you when the ceiling was leaking from the ** unit which was proven when we got it inspected because of your techs negligence. Since you think you know everything. The awning broke because of a piece missing from the arm, which your tech didnt catch, but dont worry, mine did. Then the motor gave out. We never have the awning out during rain or wind so dont blame us when we can clearly see its your business who is at fault. To add to that, the front bathroom was leaking from the sink and toilet, but thats from the potholes too right? WRONG. We drove 150 miles from your fraud of a business leading to ALL these issues happening at the same time, not possible, *****. Your tech didnt do his job, otherwise we wouldnt have multiple leaks from the ceiling, a bathroom leaking from the toilet and sink, and a broken awning. Also, were we supposed to get new jacks, because we never did, so you owe us those too if youre saying we got them, cause I promise we didnt. By the way, no, not everything is in working condition, you have no clue. Your tech didnt even seal the roof!! We had a guy up there that said, do you guys know you have a big hole on your roof. Of course we didnt know, because we thought it was sealed and never climbed up there! Your tech said it was sealed. Nothing that happened was caused by the road nor a wind storm, it was caused by the negligence from your company. People really need to read the reviews. Maybe the one about the water damage you guys tried to cover up by making a drawer look like it was fake, thats a great one because they got scammed just like we did. You guys knew we were pressed for time buying a rv and you guys took advantage, plain and simple.

    Sincerely,

    ******** C

I bought a RV from Findlay Truck and RV on 3/7/24. I drove 7 hours each direction for this purchase. Prior to buying I was provided a written inspection checklist showing all was in good condition from the owner. Once back home the next day I realized the power stairs would not work correctly. I took the RV to my local dealer who found not only the stairs had a problem but also that awning had bent arms and a rip in it. There is a hydraulic leak from the leveling system, both slide top awnings need replacement due to tears, and that exterior seals also needed replacement. I have emailed the report to the owner and have also texted it to him. His response was that an extended warranty should cover it. I have an extended warranty and they do not cover items that were not disclosed and provided as in good condition on a fraudulent report. The owner has not reached back out and seems to have no intention to correct the problems. I'm seeking a reimbursement of all needed repairs since the provided inspection report was fraudulent.

Enclosed you will find a copy of the "Buyers Guide" which states it comes with a 50/50 engine and transmission ONLY warranty. ******* at the time of delivery declined to purchase an extended warranty which has also been attached to this response. I did provide for ******* (before coming to Ohio) our 140-point safety inspection. As shown in the report, we put 6 brand new tires, new RV engine battery in the motorhome. Also, in the reports, everything was in 100% working condition, including the power step. My RV technician ***** did a walk through with ******* at the time of his arrival. ******* had the opportunity to operate the power jacks (which was Not leaking), he was shown the slide outs working with no problems, the generator and all the roof airs were also turned on and shown they worked perfectly. Last but not least, ******* did operate the power awnings which all went in and out with no problems. Patick also had the opportunity to inspect the awnings on the slide outs and was shown they were in good working condition with normal wear and tear.

******* did call me about the step and took it to an RV dealer and it was only a 5-amp blown fuse. Regarding the awning arms were bent, they were Not bent at the time of delivery and ******* was shown this by ***** putting the awning arms in and out.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me ******  at ************ (cellphone).

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The statement provided is false. I did buy an extended warranty (even better than what they offer), however no extended warranties cover undisclosed problems with the RV which were not identified and given a report on showing that they didn't exist. The owner did have his employee do a walk around with me, however the awning was already out (and only half way) which now makes sense, because they didn't want me to see that it had problems releasing due to the bent arms, and also only half way out so that the tear was not seen. Yes, I should have double checked this, however I did not expect that this company was out to deceive me and sell me an RV with problems that they knew about and went to great lengths to hide. The power step was out, and it did go out without a problem, the problem was that it would not stay out once the door was closed. Again at the walk through they kept the door open so that the door problem (not being held out when door closed) was not easily found. The problem did end up being the fuse for the step, however it took several hours of work to determine and find the problem which Findlay Truck and RV could not do. So instead they attempted to deceive once again but were caught. They were notified of the step problem the day I brought the RV home, I was told they would get back into contact with me about fixing it, and they never did. This is why I had to take it to another dealership who then identified all of the other issues that were not disclosed and fraudulently identified as OK on their report.

I have uploaded and included the estimate for the repairs and pictures showing the torn awning topper that I was also not given notice on. Their own report shows no problems with these items, however there are multiple problems and they simply falsified their inspection report to sell the vehicle. I was a trusting consumer who assumed that the dealership was honest and have since found out that is far from the truth.

I again am asking for a full reimbursement of the attached estimate so that the existing problems on the RV are corrected as they should have been, before the sale of the RV.

    Sincerely,

    ******* ******

I bought a motor home and was assured everything would be fixed before picking up. We arrived two weeks later and didn’t work on it. The next day they had ready but automatic levelers didn’t work. They said it was a faulty key pad. They would send next week. We picked up end of March. After calling and texting numerous times we received key pad June 22. I went to install but wire plugs are different. Mine has 10 and 12 wire plug. The one they sent hat a 6 and 14 wire plug. No directions. When picked up they assured me it would plug right in. I talked to them and he told me not to text them anymore. I wouldn’t have bought if levelers wouldn’t work. Also broken turning light they still haven’t sent yet.

I am rejecting this response because: I have never talked to his tech. I have sent him text messages which I still have and never cussed him out. I did finally get the key pad on. But this is not the problem. The problem is the check valve s in the pumps are shot. To fix this you have to buy new pumps. There are four pumps on the motor home and they are over $600 apiece. They had two weeks to have everything fixed. I believe they knew what the problem was but thought I wouldn’t complain. Also still haven’t sent the light as they said they would. I can send all correspondence of text messages to show he is lying. Thanks. ****

Business stated they have no problem reimbursing the consumer if one pump is out. It is impossible for all pumps to be out at once. The turn signal light is obsolete. They are not made anymore for the '04 models. The turn signal and bulb work, it's just missing the cover. You can also call me on my personal cell phone ************.

I am rejecting this response because:The two front rams will not go up. The two back rams are very very slow. I don’t want to take camper and use and get stuck at campsite if back rams don’t go up. Yes I can climb underneath and loosen lines but then will have oil all over. The pumps are not shot. It is release valves in all the pumps. But the problem is they don’t make release valves so you have to replace the whole pump. I am sixty eight years old and don’t want. problems. I would correspond with owner but after accusing me of cussing out his employee which I never talked to I am keeping myself safe.
