    NEVER PURCHASE FROM BIG SANDY PARKERSBURG, WV. I purchased a 5piece sectional on 4/17/24 the price was 4,000. I bought the 5 year warranty. I just called on January 22nd to ask if they would be able to move it to my new home. No they can't, so I had to pay for a uhaul. Did that and was PERSISTENT ON THAT I NEEDED it to be clean. They mopped it out but still got a black mark down the side of my couch. Now BIG SANDY said they covered all spills, tears, cleaning, any and everything! But now they tell me they can quote me a local cleaner because they won't cover it? With a 500 dollar warranty??? They told me it was my fault. They can't do anything about it but have me pay someone else more when they are the ones who are supposed to clean it. But they'll clean up **** stains from animals which I don't have on here? Oh okay. What is the point of charging someone when you won't even cover it?? So now I'm trying to get my refund for the insurance and you think it would go back to me for my couch right?? WRONG! IT GOES TOWARDS A STORE CREDIT AND I CAN GET SOEMTHING ELSE! NO! I'm never EVER paying for something from this business again, if you can even call it that. They are a SCAM. DONT EVER PURCHASE FRON HERE EVER!! They won't help you with nothing after you paid a good amount of money. They will tell you you have to fix it yourself but first they won't explain any detail that you need to know about it. You can only find it online. I have my paper work in hand and it STILL DOESNT SAY THEY WONT COVER IT! Horrible place.

    Horrible customer service! If I could give 0 stars I would. We had a microwave delivered last week. The delivery driver was extremely rude and even kept telling his partner that wife was an ***** white ****** He did this in front of my son and did it repeatedly. The scene was really even worse than this. To top it all off, my wife called big sandy and explained. She was told someone would call back and never received a call back. I called and spoke with an assistant manager who seemed to not care at all. I was told I would receive a call back from another manager and the call never came. This isn’t the first horrible experience with big sandy. Not sure why we used them again. We will never use big sandy again!

    I bought a Fridge from Big Sandy Superstore in Portsmouth Ohio had to wait 9 days so they could deliver on delivery day for some reason they kept giving different reasons they never delivered, by 4 pm that day we called them they said the order was canceled then they had to use another truck for delivery, then they wanted me to meet them and transfer the fridge to my truck it went on and on, but they didn't want to give my money back they wanted to send it to me in the mail I didn't send them a check in the mail, I just felt as thou I was the joke for the day. This was dealing with Portsmouth Superstore and Franklin Furnace where they ship from. I wasn't being compensated for all this nor was I addressed in a far manor, I should be compensated for the wasted time I used waiting for this delivery and the lies that where told for the delivery. I have a contract here stating they where to be here between noon to 5pm. I bought 12/10/24 delivery to be 12/19/24. now they want me to wait again

    Purchased a $2000 sectional 12/2022 and purchased a 5 year warranty. Less then 2 years fabric of the sectional started tearing, wood on both sides of the sectional and the front bottom of the sectional broke (one side of the sectional is sitting on the floor and the metal latch that connects the two sectionals together has broken. The gentleman from the service ***** came to look at it and 12 days later they sent me a text message saying " the claim was denied for fixing or replacing your sectional because it was used for a bed for a relative". I live by myself and no it was not used for a bed for a relative!!! What was the purpose of buying a warranty"!! PURCHASED AN EXPENSIVE WARRANTY FOR WHAT? NEVER PURCHASE FURNITURE AT BIG SANDY!! THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!!!

    They delivered my brand new couch but didnt install it and couldnt offer some sort of compensation when I asked if they could come back out and install my couch properly. It was like pulling teeth to try and get some sort of help and the management reached out to me but never got back into contact with me. In store service was nice however after the purchase the service was horrid

    Bought a brand new ******* fridge from Big Sandy late September 2023, received it October 05,2023. Never plugged it in was under renovation plus taking care of my mother I didn’t have the opportunity to plug it up till now. Well $1200 for a new fridge doesn’t even work. Best Big Sandy can do is fix it. Great!! Only to be juggled around and lied to about the dates the tech can come out to fix. First it was he only comes on Tuesdays schedule it 2 weeks out. The day before the tech is schedule to arrive they rescheduled me and said oh he only comes on Thursdays so that’s a lie. I will NEVER shop there again nor recommend this store. Mind you unpackaged this fridge it has broken doors I. The inside. Note to self plug everything up in a timely fashion. I thought Sandy/******* stood by their products. I guess NOT!! #disgruntledcustomer

    I would give 0 stars if possible. Purchased a washer 2 years ago. Bought the extended warranty. Washer stopped working 3 weeks ago. I called because I have the extended warranty. I keep hearing oh we ordered the parts they haven't came in. Meanwhile I am spending a small fortune at the laundromat. 3 weeks!!! I will not make any future purchases from big sandy. Shop local, buy local?! No thanks.

    I gave big Sandy a down payment, ordered a couch set, was told it would be delivered in about 3 weeks (Chillicothe, OH store). I spent several trips picking out the set that I wanted. Gave them a check on Saturday. Monday was a holiday. I called Tuesday to see when it would be delivered. The middle of July! I cancelled the order. They said my down payment return would take 7-10 business days. Today is day 9, nothing from Big Sandy. This was a hefty down payment. You would think if they wanted their customers satisfied so they would return, they would cut you a check in the store. Nope. I went to ****** Furniture, got a really nice leather couch set, no down payment and 5 years same as cash. I have been a loyal big Sandy customer for two decades. This is not how I want to be treated. ****** Furniture is how I want to be treated.

    I purchased a flex steel living room suit from big Sandy and Portsmouth Ohio. It came with a lifetime manufacturers warranty. In February 2024, we went to the store and explained we had a piece of that furniture that was no longer working. A time was set up for the warranty work to take place when the gentleman showed up he said he did not have the parts to fix it, so he measured and took notes and made another appointment. When he came back for the next appointment, the part that he measured to fix furniture that was defected did not fit. He remeasured and ordered it again and rescheduled us. The date of the appointment for him to come and fix it. He had a family emergency and they canceled and rescheduled for today. June 7, 2024. I got a message yesterday evening that they would be here in the morning between eight and 1:00 PM. At 8:20 this morning on the date of the service schedule, I received a phone call from big Sandy telling me that we would have to reschedule again. They needed to cancel because the man is sick. We understand people have family emergencies and people get sick, but this has been going on since February. We have been loyal customers of big Sandy furniture for over 20 years and after giving over $6000 for this piece of furniture to be treated like this and to be left with a piece of furniture that does not work is not acceptable. We will no longer be giving our patronage to any big Sandy stores from here on out. And I would recommend nobody else do it as well. I have talked to many friends who’ve had horrible experiences and we did not believe it until now. When we told the lady on the phone, we were not satisfied with being delayed again. She said that was the only choice we had, that’s how the warranty worked the manufacturers warranty. I hope something can be done! Sincerely, ***** *****
