On Monday, August 12, 2024, I hired a company by the name of Hyper Auto Transport to ship 2 vehicles from *********, ******* to my new residence in *****, ******* for the sum of $1000.00. I was dealing with a gentleman by the name of *******. He requested a $400.00 Zelle down payment that I paid immediately.******* promised shipment the following day, with no success. On August 14th, ******* called and informed me that the driver was unable to pull the 2 vehicles out of the storage unit due to lack of space. Since, I have 3 other vehicles stored at a different storage unit in ********* and easily accessible; I rearranged with ******* to have those 3 vehicles transported, instead of the other 2 vehicles. *******, quoted me an additional $1700.00 to have those 3 vehicles shipped and requested an additional $500.00 down payment that I paid immediately via Zelle; which came up to a total of $900.00 as down payment.The transport of those 3 vehicles had started to become extremely stressful dealing with a 3rd party shipping company that ******* hired, the driver, plus ******* that was not capable of delivering. The 3rd party company informed me that "the driver was unable to pull the 3 cars with his hauling truck and a tow truck is needed". The 3rd party company quoted me an additional $300.00 for the tow truck driver fees. I informed the 3rd party company that I have already paid a large down payment of $900.00 to ******* at Hyper Auto Transport and I prefer dealing directly with *******, since he was originally hired as the middleman. I informed ******* of the situation and asked him to step in, so that the 3rd party company would stop calling and asking me for additional money.******* did nothing to help and the situation started to raise much stress and anxiety. So, I decided to fire ******* and ask him for a refund, which he refuses. I need your help and would like a full refund of my $900.00 payment that I pay to ******* at Hyper Auto Transport ASAP.Business response

Good morning dearS, I am emailing you to respond this opened complaint to my company, On 08/12/2024 we made a contract with ******************************* to ship his 5 vehicles from ********* , *******; to ***** , **, 1st contract was signed on 08/12/2024 and the second one was signed on 08/14/2024 and then we found a carrier to our customer and ************************ them all to the destionation on time without any problem or damages then everything was good but We don't have any idea why the customer opened a claim to our company. I will attach all the documents i mean signed contracts and Bill ** Lading as well which can be a proof for delivering all the vehicles so please review this case and please make this case resolved and help us to delete this complaint from our company's BBB.Customer response

*******, I fired you immediately and asked for my money back as soon as you refused to utilize part of my $900.00 down payment to ship my vehicles. The $300.00 additional towing fees to remove the cars was not part of the deal, plus you kept on lying to me and could not deliver. Therefore, I had the right to get rid of you for your incompetence and hire someone else.
I question if the Bill of Lading that you've attached is legit, since the companies that I hired to replace you are the exact same 2 companies that were trying to steal my vehicles by sending me a weak $50.00 ***** gift trick bait deposited to my bank account from *****'s wife (the driver) that arose my suspicions. I replied to the same phone number and asked ***** about the $50.00 deposit and an ETA to deliver my cars, but he never responded. I became nervous because he used to reply to my text messages immediately. I contacted the brokerage firm that works directly with ***** and informed them about the $50.00 deposit and if they have heard from the driver, but they never replied as well. That's when I knew for sure that I was being robbed. I remained calm, collected and decided to send them a final text message that I was going to report the entire situation to the police. That's when they finally responded and informed me that the vehicles would be delivered the following day with no further clarifications about the baited $50.00. *****, delivered the cars late the following night and I helped him unload the vehicles. After all was done, ***** shamelessly talked about the $50.00; since I offered to give it back to him, if the money was sent by mistake. I gave him $60.00 back and told him to keep the change. The driver walked away with an additional $210.00 that I gave extra, a $300.00 to tow the cars that cannot be proven, plus the original amount that I was quoted to ship the 5 cars from Hyper Auto Transport. I'm now out of $900.00 and I want it ASAP. I will take this issue to court and file a police report about the entire situation if need be.

Bill of lading is completely legit because the driver company gave it to us once your vehicles are delivered and if you look at the bill of lading i attached there is your signature and i will give you dispatch sheet as well it means bill of lading is truly sent us from their company. If the driver asked you more money than we agreed we can pay them but you only paid us the amount on the contract, you signed the contract with my company and we made them delivered as we agreed if you had to pay extra from the amount we agreed with you i will cover it but on the contract there written about you need to pay the reservation fee for our company $900 total.Initial Complaint

I was trying to ship my daughters car from ********** to **********. Of all the companies that sent me proposals, Hyper was the lowest by $10, at $1140. I paid the deposit of $208, and then the day before they were supposed to pick up the car, *******, the broker at the company, tried to raise the price. At that point, it would be more expensive than a handful of the other companies. I told him to cancel, and he kept harassing me with texts and phone calls to try to get me to pay more. I just want my deposit back so I can pick a legitimate carrier.Business response

On 07/22/2024 we agreed with *********;***********;to pick up the vehicle for $1140 total and the pick up date was 08/02/2024 then on the pick up date we had to hire an individual driver for the price of $1200 due to lack of the carrier at the pick up address, then we tried to explain the situation to our customer but *********;****** told us he can not pay any extra money then we had to cancel the shipment and today having tolked with *********;****** we sent his $208 to his account so we do apologize for this inconvenience but we did our best to find a right carrier but due to lack of the carrier in ********** , *******; we had to hire individual one. We refunded customer's money and asked from him to make this complaint resolved and he agreed. So i do ask to make this case resolved we will attach all the screenshots as a proof.

Paid $100 deposit on May 18, 2024 for car transport pick up scheduled on May 25, 2024 and delivery for May 26, 2024 as per attached Contract. On May 25, 2024 there was no pick up promised. There was no call from the company so I called to check the status. I was told the driver had a family emergency and couldn't drive this day. The driver ***** **** told me he'd look for another driver for the next day so I agreed. On May 26, 2024 there was no driver that came and no one called me. I texted ***** and he now was telling me that he would get a driver the next day, May 27, 2024. I asked for a refund as 2 days already passed and they kept changing dates. I was told the refund would take 7 days. On June 9, 2024 I texted ***** and he said it was already refunded. I asked for a receipt or proof. He did not give any. I checked my bank and there was no refund. I spoke with ***** on 6/11/2024 and he told me the accountant would call me back in 10 minutes. No one has called me back.Customer response

Hello dears,
We received this case due to our agents mistake and then we tried to reach to the customer at that time but customer didn't respond us and then we had to leave this case unanswered then on July we could reach to the customer and refunded her money and asked to make this complaint resolved, ******** also tried to make it resolved and delete complaint and requested as well but, she didn't know how to delete herself so please make this case resolved and delete. You can contact to the customer for the proof this case already resolved i will attach screenshots for the proof.We did take a serious action in order not to happen this kind of inconvenience again, we are good now with the customer so please make this case resolved and delete.

On Thursday, May 9, 2024 I contacted hyper auto transport in regards to shipping a car from California to Spring Texas. I received a quote of $600 where I then in return requested to have a contract sent. The contract was sent quoting the amount of $600. I signed the contract and confirmed that the contractors received did not hear from the company on Friday Saturday or Sunday Monday morning. I reached out to them to verify what time they would be picking up the car, I then was told by gentleman by the name of Max that he cannot find a driver to pick up the car as stated that he could Stated that he would call me back. He then sent me a text saying that he did find a driver. However, the rate is now 1050. I will not be paying that contract and he refused to go ahead and honor the signed contract that was given on Thursday, May 9. They are now repeatedly texting me telling me that they’ll do it for 900 after I’ve already told them that I no longer trust their company and that I will not be using them because they have now left me with a feeling of being scammed I do not trust them with my car .Business response
