B and A Garagedoor Service saved me $$ AND a very long wait for a new door! Back story: A spring on my garage door broke a month ago. Another company sent a technician who explained that he could replace one or both springs but since I'd expressed interest in a new garage door, he could clamp the broken spring since a new door came with springs. I chose to do that. When that company gave me a very large $$$$$ estimate for a new door and opener, they also said it would be at least ***** weeks before they could install it due to "supply chain" issues. The clamped spring worked, but the door was starting to get creaky and a bit wobbly as it moved - I was concerned the the clamp might fail, or the other spring break. Yesterday (5/9/22) I called theee other local companies for an estimate but had to leave messages. **** of B and A answered immediately, and came to my house right away. After listening carefully to what I needed in a new door and opener, he promised to check around and get back to me, which he did within 90 minutes. He'd found the exact door I needed, and installed it and a great wifi enabled opener TODAY (5/10/22) for less than 60% of the one quote I'd received. He and his wife arrived on time and finished in less than 3 hours. I know that that time-frame is unheard of lately and I was blessed to have them able to install so quickly, but even if I'd had to wait longer, I would still be pleased with the outcome. They are both lovely people and I will be recommending B and A to all of my family, friends and neighbors.
