    ****** ** ********** ** **** *** *** **** Ken's Spa Service has never let me down. If he cannot respond immediately, he will coach you on steps you can take to keep your hot tub from freezing up. When he does respond he has the uncanny ability to zero in on your exact problem. So different from other companies I have used. They say, "Let's try a new circuit board." They keep guessing as your repair bill goes up and up. Ken's knowledge and experience will save you money for sure.

    I tried to cancel an estimate for repairs but Ken's spa service insisted on just taking a look because je was in the area and wouldn't charge/fix anything "without your green light". He was there 10 mins and left a $169 bill "for his time and travel". Not professional or honest with upfront charges. Then told me to watch put for 'karma' when I questioned his charges. WOW. Very Unprofessional and desperate.

    This customer ( not her real name) cancelled on me an hour before our scheduled time because she chose to work longer . I asked if shed allow me to go and troubleshoot it for her and contact her with the issues. Upon driving over and checking things out I contacted her and let her know what was wrong and the price she said she didnt want to fix it then. I left a quote with the travel fee and the 15 minutes to put some water in the spa and test things. On the bill it gives the quote and also says the fee that was due and that the fee would go towards any work performed. After a few days she accidentally sent me a text talking about getting the parts online and a friend doing the work now that she knows whats wrong. I laughed it off and about a week or so later sent her of a reminder about the fee. She responded that I shouldve given her a free estimate.and that she wasnt going to pay me. She said it was illegal for me to not say there was a fee. If people ask about my charges Im upfront with them and if they decline thats their decision. This women wanted something for nothing in that she used me to let her know what to order. There are no Spa Tech companies that give free estimates for that reason. I did tell her about ***** just to let her know that at some point using peoples time and energy would backfire on her. Ive been in this business for over three decades and have thousands of happy and satisfied customers.They expect to pay for a technician to come out and fix their spa. I wouldnt even care if she ordered the parts herself as long as I got paid for my time. She obviously doesnt understand opportunity cost that while ** looking at her spa Im not able to make money elsewhere. With her saying. she was staying at work about an hour before our appointment it left a big hole in my day and threw off my scheduling. Thats why I went in good faith to look at it. The travel time, troubleshooting, wear and tear on my vehicle isnt cheap. She also tried to dictate what I should charge. I wish her the best but Ill never work on her spa no matter how desperate she may be.

    I paid Ken to fix an issue with my hot tub but a few days later, the same problem occurred. He didn't respond to requests to come back out to fix the problem. When he finally responded, he said he was getting over COVID and would call me the next week to schedule an appointment. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but he never called. I tried multiple times to reach him with no response. Unless you have money to throw away, don't use this business.
