10/16/2024 The company entered on my property without my permission with a heavy truck, wood chipper and a piece of equipment with tank style tires while I was at work. They opened my gate to the back of my house and pulled the wood chipper, truck and equipment down my driveway. They used my yard to pull my neighbor's tree they cut down through my yard to place in wood chipper. They took my side yard down to dirt. I informed the owner of the house from the very beginning I did not want any heavy equipment on my driveway or yard. I have documentation of them in my yard and equipment on my property. I have contacted the company, but was dismissed by them. I was told someone would give me a call, but they have not reached out to me. I have tried calling, but no one answers the phone.

There was a fallen tree in the backyard between 2 houses, the owner of the tree requested a bid to removed entire tree on both properties, we were hired by them and told us they wanted to pay for her neighbors part too, when we arrive, part of the fallen tree from the neighbor who is complaining was gone, we knock her door but no one came out, the owner of the tree told us shortly after do not back up on her driveway, we moved immediately, sorry for any misunderstanding, we were there to help cleaning fallen trees after the storm, our intention was never to cause a problem

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

I was never contacted by my neighbor regarding them paying for the tree removal from my property. I informed my neighbor's son I did not want any heavy equipment on my driveway and property. The tree company came out on 2 separate occasions to take the tree down and remove it from her yard. I was home the day they came out to cut the tree down and I informed the owner's son again no heavy equipment on my property. The truck and chipper was left parked on the street.  The second time the came out to remove the tree I was at work. I was contacted by my neighbor who took the attached picture that they were in my backyard. My neighbor went over to inform them again I did not want the heavy equipment on my property.  I have one of the workers on my ring doorbell and no one answered the door and gave them permission to be on my property. They pulled the huge truck, the chipper and equipment with tank type wheels on my driveway.  The also opened a latched gate and pulled the equipment behind my house without my permission. They then proceeded to pull the branches from my neighbor's tree and this was a very large tree into my yard. I have asked for someone from the company to come out to my property and assess the damage, but no one has gotten back with me.

We want to resolve this problem, please email us at *********************** and let us know clearly/politely what your request is and how we can help you to resolve this issue, last time you spoke with us by phone, our office manager took the message but she said you were very upset and unfortunately your request was not clearly understood due to some yelling and threating, our estimator went back next day after you called us to review the jobsite you were complaining about, no one answered the door, he was there after 4:30 pm as you requested, he saw your driveway had some dirt and noticed you had some trees trimmed recently NOT by us (after we removed your neighbor's tree) in your backyard, not sure if that dirt was left by them however, we can send someone from our crew to power wash your driveway at no charge, we hope this resolves this issue once and for all, finally, we are very sorry our crew had some miscommunication that day, after the storm, we had several trees down and your neighbor's tree fell on both yards including yours, your neighbor hired us to remove the entire tree including the part that fell on your backyard, she said she would paid for the entire service however, after the crew backed up, they saw your yard had been already cleaned up so we never work on your side, they did enter through your driveway to reach out the fallen tree better thinking they would be working on both yards including yours and called your door before entering for courtesy but no one answered, after minutes the crew was working, your neighbor asked our team to move our vehicle out of your driveway and they did that immediately, we concluded our team parked on your driveway briefly to reach out the fallen tree and help your neighbor more efficiently, however, we understand we didn't have 100% clearance from you to be there on your driveway that is why we are willing to resolve this matter as soon as possible, we want to move on and don't want any other confrontation by phone, we encourage you to email us at your earliest convenience at *********************** to better assist you and to understand more clearly what is your request in writing, we understand you are upset, our driver had a one week suspension because of this inconvenience, let us know what else we can do for you and hopefully you can move on from this situation too, thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

I feel the company wants to deflect and dismiss the fact they trespassed on my property and damaged my side yard by pulling my neighbors tree across it.  They also were on my driveway with 3 pieces of heavy equipment and one of them left track marks on my driveway in the back.  I will reach out to the company per the email included in their response to inform them I would like to have my driveway pressure washed to remove the tractor marks placed by their equipment on my driveway.  I also would like to be compensated done for the damage done to my side yard they are responsible for when they pulled the tree branches from my neighbor's yard through mine to use the chipper.  I feel the amount of $300.00 is a reasonable and fair amount to hire someone to pressure wash the driveway and repair the side yard.  The response mentioned they were willing to pressure was my driveway at no charge but given my experience with this company, I prefer to hire someone else to do the job.  I will email them today with this request and ask for a response time of 12/30/2024.  If I do not receive payment on or before that day I will proceed with this complaint in Small Claims Court.  It is my hope they will accept this resolution, because I would like to put this experience behind me.  I want to thank the BBB for your assistance in this matter.

$300 is not the cost to power wash an average size driveway, we sent the estimator right after your complaint to assess any damage, the huge neighbors fallen tree was handled carefully and professionally like we always do, rejecting our help to power wash your driveway with no acceptable reason makes this more complicated and instead you want to collect a higher compensation, our office management received your message since the beginning but there was no need for disrespect from your side, we always assist on a timely manner, never denied helping, your request was not clearly understood under those circumstances.

A check will be mailed for $300, future complains regarding the matter will be handled by our legal team
