Attempting not to pay out on your warranty items due to excessive use but it’s a used vehicle and that’s why I purchased the warranty. Purchased a truck and the warranty on December 31, 2024. Took the vehicle to a mechanic shop to ensure there were no issues I couldn’t detect. Mechanic shop states there were issue's with the vehicle and contacted the warranty company. It took a week for the shop to receive any information on this warranty and everything was denied due to excessive use and there was no way with a vehicle with that many miles could have that much wear and tear unless there was excessive use. The vehicle is used and that’s what the purpose of a warranty. We don’t know if the parts on this vehicle were new, faulty or used parts. There’s no evidence of excessive use other than the claims adjuster states it. He’s making an assumption on his experience but we don’t know what this vehicle has been through prior being purchased. Was also told you can’t speak with anyone higher than him, the claims adjuster. Then was hung up on. Also, stated the only thing he said was incorrect was the only way the vehicle could have that much wear and tear is if you were driving in a mountain. Not requesting anything but what I paid for through my warranty.NVP Warranty Response

Hello ****** At the time the claim was initiated the vehicle had traveled 113 miles in 3 days from purchase. Upon review the failures present with tie rods, wheel bearings and engine mounts are something that would not occur in such a short duration of time and mileage. Per the contract terms these failures were denied citing the exclusions section 10, item "B. Repair or replacement of any Covered Component when a Mechanical Breakdown is attributable to a condition that existed prior to the purchase of this Agreement." Our adjuster has requested photos of the radiator failure for consideration, and we are awaiting receipt of those images. If you have any additional questions or concerns beyond the conversations we have had to date, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service agents at *************Review from Jennifer J

I bought a used car with an nvp warranty. 1.5 months after purchase I learned I had $1000 of repairs on it. Tire pressure censors, an ignition coil and checkup fees. Nvp refused to cover any noting that their warranty only covered very limited parts. Scam.NVP Warranty Response

These people are scam artists. The warranty will not honor any claims and you will have to come out of pocket for everything. I purchased a 2014 Equinox. 1 previous owner. 30k miles or 2 years. The engine jumped timing and the warranty refuses to fix it. I sent in records or oil changes as well as kept up with maintenance and routine gas treatments. The company usually doesn’t request records but because they claim I didn’t have more than the two I provided from previous they could not honor it. Check the GOOGLE reviews. There is nothing favorable about this company. Now I am at a loss of 4300$NVP Warranty Response

Good morning, I've reviewed the claim on file for your contract. We have received 1 maintenance record at the time of this reply. We also reviewed the carfax for any additional services that may suffice and non are logged there. The OEM requires the oil changes to be completed at minimum once per year or not more than every 7500 miles. Per the contract terms "13. MAINTENANCE: Regular maintenance service is a condition of this Agreement. In order to keep this Agreement in force during its term, the Agreement Holder must, at his or her expense, maintain the Vehicle according to the Vehicle manufacturer’s specifications including, but not limited to, scheduled oil changes, transmission fluid changes, differential fluid changes, fluid level checks and refilling when required, and lubrication of the steering components and suspension. The Agreement Holder must provide verifiable service records indicating proper maintenance of the vehicle has been performed upon Administrator’s request. Receipts listing date, mileage, services performed, and materials purchased will be the only acceptable proof of maintenance." If no further maintenance was performed the obligations have not been met and we are unable to proceed on the claim.Review from C. F.

They don’t tell you when you buy that they will not pay the full cost of repair. They only pay a percentage…and the percentage is a lot less than what the repair will be …they only want to pay $2000 on a claim when warranty clearly says what’s covered …but then they go to the fine print and tell you other wise….dont waste your time and money they will make you mad and have you thinking your repairs are covered when there not !!!!NVP Warranty Response

When I purchased the vehicle the dealer said it came with a 2 year warranty I never saw a brochure the warranty was never explained to me …in this case I feel as though the warranty needs to be honored and the dealer needs to lose what ever certification he has to sell this warranty and any other typeReview from Erika J

Absolutely worthless. Do NOT waste your money on this extended warranty. Their contract is so finely crafted to just protect THEM! Makes it sound as if so much is covered, and when the time comes for the use of the policy, all of a sudden it's one of their 100 loopholes to not actually cover a THING! I will be asking for a refund and I already see they even fight their poor victims on that request. I'll seek legal action if I have to. A bunch of crooks.NVP Warranty Response

Absolutely awful customer service! I paid extra for this warranty for the benefits it included and with the understanding that those benefits would be available to me when I need them. I have been stuck on the side of a busy highway, have called the roadside assistance lines several times and left messages, as it keeps you on hold for 15 minutes then goes to a voicemail box and hangs up on you. I'm stranded and can't even get ahold of anyone to help, why am I paying for something I can't use? An hour and a half on hold and trying to get help is unacceptable!!NVP Warranty Response
