Remove a wooden privacy fence. Replace with a white vinyl privacy fence. Deposit paid on 5/22/23 of 250.00. Half of the cost paid 6/20/23 of 2750.00. Final payment of 2500.00 paid on 6/26/23. Around December of 2023 I noticed the fence moving. I called the company March 11, 2024. I wanted company to come out to see that the fence had sunk in the middle. Owner claimed this was their busy time. Second call April 1 to again ask for appointment to at least look at fence and discuss resolution. Owner asked if the fence was laying down. It is not. Texts sent May 1 and 2, 2024. Company claiming a soft spot and one post moving was normal and will not tear fence down to fix one post. Concrete not used in or around the posts. This new fence is in the exact location of the old fence that was there for at least 25 years. My husband, that passed 4 1/2 years ago, installed the old wooden fence but used concrete around the posts. I have requested twice the name and contact information of this company's insurance company and company that holds their bond. The contract I signed and their web site states they are licensed, insured and bonded. I have another person that gave me their suggestion of how to fix the fence. It does not involve tearing the entire fence down. Since the vinyl fence attaches to each other, the middle post is sunken, the post next to it popped up. Those sections are pulling on each other. Each post moves when touched. The gate, that is at the other end has a larger gap from it to the post next to it. I do not trust this company to fix this fence properly. I want to file a claim against his insurance company and/or bond company so I can pay someone I do trust and know what they are doing. I have pictures and a video of the old fence and the new fence. This shows the new fence is in the exact same location as the old fence. The old fence never sank in a "soft spot". But then again the old fence posts were cemented in the ground.
