Rhino Shield charged me for $23,500 to paint my house that is only 1,600 square feet, half brick and half cedar. They did not paint the whole house. For that price, I believe they ripped me off because I am a female and a widow. Compared to my neighbor, I paid six times as much for the same size house. The job was not as good as I expected. I hope other single women will be careful to deal with this company.

The customer requested a service call, and we assessed her home with no cracking peeling lifting, no warranty issues. Customer stated that we need to seal (caulk) under lap siding. Rhino Shield coating was installed properly as noted on the completion form, she signed.Review from Linda W

Rhino Shield paint did not cover as advertised. Initial painting was May 2016 at a cost of $13,406. Since then they have returned 4 times over the 6 years to repaint continuing cracked and peeling places. In addition, new rotted wood is continuing to happen after them "waterproofing" my house. I do not want to keep paying for labor/wood for a paint job that has proven to not perform as expected. I have asked them for a partial refund of my money because of this and the fact that it did not last even one quarter of the 25 years promised. They refused, pointing out in their warranty what it does not cover -- just about everything that can happen to your house. Beware and read the warranty before you sign. I had no problem with the painters -- came when called and worked hard but the paint failed my house.Rhino Shield Response

Rhinoshield originally painted our home in June 2021. We were very pleased with the result and the customer service given to us. During the next year, we started to notice several areas of peeling paint and two color variations. We contacted ***** and he came out to assess the problem. Within 5 days, our home was completely repainted with special care given to the areas of peeling paint. Again, great customer service from a company who honors their word!
